When I saw this parental advice article from Slate, I knew I had to do a video on it. First off, with how Slate is filled with single women pushing middle age, soyboys, and gay men, they are the last “publication” that should be giving parental advice, but they are. From there, the type of person who’d write into Slate for advice like this, they probably shouldn’t be having kids in the first place. In this case, it is no exception to this. You have a couple with an open marriage. Which the odds are the wife wanted it to be that way. The husband gets caught out with his other woman by their oldest daughter who chose not to confront them. Instead, she goes and tells her mother who in turn let the daughter believe he was cheating on her, as opposed to coming clean about their degenerate lifestyle, or the fact she was with her man when the daughter saw the husband. The wife threw him under the bus with her because she knows she is a degenerate. That is the only explanation here. The title of this video is self-explanatory. A Karen is holding a grudge with her in-laws because they disapproved of her daughter getting a tattoo and weren’t about to pay for it. They knew their granddaughter was going to use the birthday gift money they were planning to give to her to pay for it, so they decided to not give her any to prevent their financing her tattoo. They included a note with their birthday card to her explaining why they didn’t give her the money. They weren’t mean about it, but the mother clearly feels that they were required to pay for the tattoo because of some misplaced entitlement she feels that her daughter has. Things are definitely slow in Hollywood. The reason why I say this is because Variety took it on themselves to carry water for Twitter.
