Every year we make resolutions about changes we want to make and how we want to improve our life, and be a better person. When you wake up in the new year, you’re still the same you as you were, there’s no real difference in who you were the day or week before. The real change comes from putting action behind intention.
In order for life to feel fulfilling we need goals, things to aspire to, ways to measure who we are and how we’re doing in life. Many people use money as a measure of their life being successful, but the real measure of success in your life is joy and love.
How much joy do you feel every day? How often do you laugh and smile and feel good deep inside you? This is where the focus of your resolutions should lie, how to make yourself feel happier deep within you and how you can share this with others. New hobbies, eating healthier, taking trips and meditating daily are all things that can make you feel more alive. They are ways to soak up life, to become a part of the human experience.
When you make your resolutions, whether it’s the beginning of the year or several months down the road, consider what your soul cries out for. Think about what feeds that spark in you and moves you toward inner joy and the sharing of love, with yourself and with others.

You can't get it wrong.
We're receiving a lot of negative news and unfortunately, we're going to be hearing more and more for a time. The events developing worldwide are just the beginning, and what we're looking at are cosmic cyclical events, being vehicles for man-made agendas. You need to be working your discernment muscles right now.
When the info you receive is equally one thing and another, and everything is presented as truth, there is no one who can tell you what to believe or do, other than you. You have to pick how you're going to be - regardless if others are in agreement with you or not. You and what you're about can't be dependent upon what someone else is or isn't, doing or being.
When in the Tao it says, "The Master is good to people who are good. She is also good to people who aren't good. This is true goodness"... it means that the Master doesn't change who she is because of the quality of the other. "She trusts people who are trustworthy. She also trusts people who aren't trustworthy." You have to be you and live you even if others don't respect or value what you do.
This is what's real. There is a real sorting happening. You have to be strong in your personal discernment. Remember, you can't get it wrong when you are genuinely being you. Go ahead and set your intentions now. Much love ??

Sometimes when you’re working through stressful times, that stimulus calls up in you, deep, past hurts. So the downer vibration you’re feeling now, is at the same frequency as the past hurt. So one makes it fertile for the other and that’s a simplified explanation of why it’s hard for you to get out of the funk... But once you are able, and for whatever reason, you’re now not in the negative vortex, try to be with and understand where you’re at right now - be specific so you see that maybe where you are, what you’re doing is keeping or has put you
above the frequency where the negative feelings were pulling you down. You are stabilized in this condition... what is different and natural to you? This is part of your practice and with practice, this awareness helps you to shift out of unproductive negative space faster each time you feel these frequencies. A lot of times, we’re struck with an idea and we say “I’ll do that tonight or after I do this...”, and when we try to come back to it, the energy is gone. It teaches us that the power was in the moment... in that creative spark that first made you aware. Another way to describe it is “hearing the call”. You are presented all day long with opportunities for the highest good (for yourself and others). But if you choose to ignore the suggestions, or decide to address them later, it’s opportunity lost. Today, my practice shows me how.
There are some great things to consider about seclusion and not wanting to have others around. BUT we are meant to share with others... it is part of our makeup. As an Empath it’s very hard to share and be open to feel all the stuff going on around me, and that’s why a personal spiritual practice is so important. It keeps me on track when I’m not
sure where the track is and where I am on it. My practice allows me to gain understanding from what I’m sensing when there are no comparisons here to explain what’s going on. My practice shows me how, as I overcome challenges with understanding and from a loving spirit (which means not from fear or opposition), these experiences made me grow and become a better person. My practice is about the quality of life I have today and realizing my true potential, which can only occur, if I share what I’ve learned and been shown. It works that way for you too. Today, New Year, New You?
This has been a tough year for many people, myself included. While I’m looking forward to the new year and the possibility of a fresh start, I’m also realizing that coming into the new year is more about trying to slowly let go of what has happened that still makes me sad, and doing my best to find things that make me feel happy and good deep down inside of me.
I'm really looking forward to starting anew, but I also recognize that I take myself with me into the new year. I’m not perfect, I can’t fix everything, but I can love who I am and all the progress I've made. I won’t be a new person on New Year’s Day, but I will be one step closer to where I want to be as I continue to work on myself.
As you come into the new year, please know you don’t have to be a new you, you just need to be you. You’re wonderful and I’m happy you’re here.
