This laptop was brought in to be looked at, and from the looks of things, it appeared as if it had a motherboard issue. In order for any part of it to work, we originally had to plug in all external components, not to mention having the thing beeping at us due to the lack of a display, though when Albano got home, it all of a sudden began working normally for him. apparently, it's a rather common problem with this particular model computer.

This is just your run of the mill IBM thinkpad T60, though this one happened to have the Lenovo branding on it. To my knowledge, Lenovo was transitioning from the IBM brand during the time this model was new, so this one happened to come after the transition in possibly 2006. Here is my first install of Plex Media server. This is just for testing, for I think I might decide to put a media server on the network. This might not work though if there is no service-oriented way to run Plex; it seems as if you have to be logged in all the time for this to work.
