Age of Empires IV is a real-time strategy video game developed by Relic Entertainment in partnership with World's Edge and published by Xbox Game Studios. It is the fourth installment of the Age of Empires series. The game was released October 28, 2021 for Windows. The game is set during the Early Middle Ages to the early Renaissance. There are 8 civilizations available at the release date; the English, the Chinese, the Mongols, the Delhi Sultanate, the French, the Abbasid Dynasty, the Holy Roman Empire, and the Rus. In August 2022, it was announced that two civilizations, the Ottomans and Malians, would be added on 25 October later that year.
Sudden Strike 4 is a real-time tactics video game set in the World War II. It is the fifth game in the Sudden Strike series and the fourth standalone release. It is the first game developed by Kite Games, a collaboration of industry veteran game developers. Originally, it was scheduled to be released for PC and PlayStation 4 on June 27, 2017; but was delayed until August 11, 2017 and August 15, 2017 for PC and PlayStation 4, respectively.
The single-player mode features 3 campaigns (German, Allied or Soviet) with over 20 missions and modding support is planned. Each of the missions in the different campaigns are based on real life World War II battles/invasions. For example, in the German campaign the player commands the Wehrmacht in the Battle of France, Operation Barbarossa, the Battle of Stalingrad, the Battle of Kursk and the Battle of the Bulge. The Invasion of Poland is used as a tutorial for the game and also acts as a prelude to the German campaign. Post-release DLCs features additional campaigns set in other theatres such as North African campaign, Winter War, Battle of Dunkirk and Pacific War.
Strategy is heavily based on those of its predecessors with a focus on the unique characteristics and skills of limited units instead of resource gathering and base building. Reinforcements will still play a role in the game, but they are scripted and predictable. The game will also introduce skill trees and commander roles with famous World War II generals such as George Patton, Heinz Guderian, Bernard Montgomery, Omar Bradley or Georgy Zhukov.

The game has a campaign or two for every nation. The Anglo-Saxon campaign has the likes of Edward the Confessor, William the Conqueror and Earl of Huntingdon. For the Vikings campaign the game is set in 793 and is divided in two parts. The first part is set during the raid of Lindisfarne's monastery which was the fundamental beginning of Viking Age and serves as a tutorial. Once the tutorial is completed the other campaigns become available. The second part is set in 892 and is dedicated to Rurik, a Varangian chieftain during the Ladoga campaign. The Slavs and Teutons have a campaign each. During the campaigns, the AI is a better player as it is able to replace losses and send large armies to your base.
This was played on the hardest difficulty and in my opinion it was a pretty atmospheric and immersive game, loved it! The combat is pretty unique reminding me of company of heroes as well as the UI and overall gameplay, which in my opinion doesn't really fit in a medieval setting but i nevertheless enjoyed it!

CIRCLE MAGE DIFFICULTY
The storytelling will take place around 500 years before the Convocation and hence the world is not yet shattered into islands but remains a whole continent. The game is set in Nortander where the player has to gather influence among the human houses. A new plague is running wild within the realm but while most inhabitants seek for salvation within religion, it is up to the avatar to solve this crisis. But there might be more to it than meets the eye.
Real-Time Strategy
Base building was announced to be bound to sector-based advancing instead of the mechanics from previous Spellforce titles. This also includes resource management, e.g. you sometimes need to mine ore in one sector and transport it to other sectors to refine it into iron bars which can then be used for other things. There are three playable fractions (orcs, humans and elves). All factions' units have a typical stone-paper-scissor mechanic, e.g. bowmen are good versus infantry but weak versus cavalry.
Role-Play game
The avatar can be chosen from different presets e.g. bulky, skinny, facial features and hair styles in either female or male gender. There are many characters from previous game that can be found in SpellForce 3 such as future mages of the circle as companions. Together you can travel among the Nortander realms and explore old shaper ruins and magicial places.
There are lots of different skills and abilities as well powerful artefacts to perfectly individualize your personal character and skill combinations. In the game there are many tasks and quests to be done with promising rewards and with lots of more background information about the Bloodburn, the Wolf Guard and the Shaper empire and so many more.
Additional infos
While the previous games had a more easygoing attempt into telling their stories SpellForce 3 attempts to be more adult in terms of storytelling and background info.
The game has a multiplayer mode where players can cooperate into player versus A.I. or other players.

The game is played from a third-person perspective and its world is navigated on-foot or by vehicle. Players control Vito Scaletta, a war veteran who becomes caught up with the Mafia when trying to pay back his father's debts. The player character's criminal activities may incite a response from law enforcement agencies, measured by a "wanted" system that governs the aggression of their response. Development began in 2003, soon after the release of the first Mafia game. At release, Mafia II received generally positive reviews from critics, with praise particularly directed at the story, though the linear open world design was criticized.
The game is set in the 1940s–early 1950s era of Empire Bay, a fictional city based on New York City. There are 30–40 vehicles in the game as well as licensed music from the era. Depending on the weather during the course of the game, vehicles are handled differently. For example during the early chapters in winter, vehicles are more likely to slip on the road due to the ice.
Many firearms from the previous game return, such as the Thompson submachine gun and Colt 1911, as well as a pump-action shotgun. New World War II–era weapons, the MG 42 and the Beretta Model 38, also appear in the game.
Interacting with objects in the environment involves two action buttons: a standard action and a "violent" action (for example, when stealing a car, the player may choose to either pick its lock or break the window glass), used in context-sensitive situations. A map is included as in the original Mafia game, but the checkpoint system has been completely overhauled.[8][further explanation needed] New controls include a cover system that allows the player to take cover behind objects (such as generators, walls and large crates) and shoot enemies, rather than just entering an arbitrary crouch pose behind them. This feature provides tactical support against enemies and has become a crucial technique of the genre.
The game's cutscenes are created by the game engine in real-time. For example, if the player is riding in a car and a cut scene starts, the player will be driving the same car with the same condition (damaged or intact) and will be wearing the same clothes. There are exceptions, however: Scenes, such as the opening sequence and the Empire Arms Hotel explosion, are pre-rendered video clips.
The game features three different in-game radio stations (Empire Central Radio, Empire Classic Radio and Delta Radio) with licensed music, news, and commercials. The radio stations include music from different genres including rock and roll, big band, rhythm and blues and doo-wop, with licensed songs by Chuck Berry, The Everly Brothers, Dean Martin, Little Richard, Muddy Waters, Buddy Holly & The Crickets, Bing Crosby, Bill Haley

I DID NOT CREATE THIS MUSIC!
The music is from the game "Iron Harvest" developed by King Art Games and published by Deep Silver.
The game is set in the 1920+ alternate history universe created by the Polish artist Jakub Różalski, which was popularized by the board game Scythe. The 1920+ universe is inspired by the Polish–Soviet War of 1919–1921, and the game's theme has been described as "dieselpunk mecha".The story is focused on the conflict between three nations in Central and Eastern Europe — Polania, Rusviet and Saxony (based respectively on Poland, Imperial Russia, and Imperial Germany) that occurs sometime in the 1920s, in the aftermath of World War I. The Operation Eagle DLC released in May 2021 adds another playable nation, Usonia (based on the United States).
Music Composed by: Adam Skorupa, Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz & Michal Cielecki
