Tantanmen ramen is delicious Japanese food, but PISTACHIO broth is a whole new world of flavor. Join me as I animalistically chomp down on the ramen noodles, bok choy, minced meat, aji tama egg, and sesame paste broth of this unique dish DEEP in the heart of Funabashi, Japan. Those pistachio nuts at a unique flavor that you won't want to miss.
This is a promo video I made before I really knew what direction this channel would go in. Hence no voiceover action on my part.

I met up with Stu in Tokyo at Akihabara, Japan and we went on the hunt for some weird, wild stuff. This neighborhood might as well be labeled perv paradiso because aside from all the gachapon and cutting-edge crotch gear, this place is jam-packed with a whole bunch of sensual Japanese anime action. I guess what I'm trying to say is, that's a nice F-in meetup right there.

CAMERA & AUDIO EQUIPMENT I USE:
Camera: Sony RX100 M3 ► http://amzn.to/2sLZDis
Voiceover Mic: Samson Go Mic ► http://amzn.to/2sSc3FY
In-Field Mic: Zoom H1 ► http://amzn.to/2sLXovV
Tripod: Manfrotto Pixi ► http://amzn.to/2sLNrOX
EXPLANATION: I try to keep my equipment as simple as possible. 90% of the time, all I use to film is my Sony RX100 M3, and all I use for audio is my Samson Go Mic (which I use to record voiceovers after filming). Occasionally I use the Zoom H1 for audio if I want to record audio in-field. As for the Pixi tripod, I sometimes use it while filming food, but most of the time I use it to mount my Samson Go Mic on a desk for voiceovers (in conjunction with the other accessories, listed below).

Joby Action Arm (arm only) ► http://amzn.to/2toE0CN
Joby Hand Grip (hand grip only) ► http://amzn.to/2sSe3y0
Joby Hub Adapter ► http://amzn.to/2toDJ2E
EXPLANATION: Because I'm often traveling, I prefer to have the lightest, smallest, most versatile components available. Therefore, I use bits and pieces from the above gear sets, and these bits and pieces can be connected together in a huge variety of ways. For example, they can be made into a long selfie stick, they can be mounted to my tripod to make it extra-tall, and they can be used with my tripod and Go Mic to position the microphone directly in front of my face while I'm recording voiceovers at a desk.

Here's some Doritos in Japan. We've got crazy new flavors poppin' off: "Rich Butter" and "Beef Consomme". The butter Doritos tasted and smelled remarkably similar to buttered movie theater popcorn. As for that "consomme" flavor, I'm not so sure on that one. I'm not really knowledgable about French foods so as far as I'm concerned, the tortillas tasted like a freakin beef bullion cube. But hey, maybe that's what consomme tastes like. I have no F-in clue. Anyway, I have a feeling these Japanese Doritos will be around for a limited time only. So I figured I'd chow down while I still had the chance.

Time for some Diabetes Quest. here we've got Mijinko Japanese pancakes, also known as hotcakes. This is a popular Japanese food with a whole lot of varieties in Tokyo. The particular variety we got here is thick to the max and fluffy beyond belief. Topped off with some maple syrup, packed with some refined wheat flour, and composed of unapologetically empty calories... I think it's safe to say my life has just changed, baby. Truly foodporn at its finest.
