Honestly, this episode is pretty bad, and so little happens that you could probably just skip it. If you do still want to watch this episode, I highly recommend watching the re-edited version, as it gets rid of the most boring segments. So what does happen in this episode? Well, I run around in the caves underneath my house, play death tag with some endermen, take a trip in a boat around the western side of my home continent, find some wolves, and then return home while experiencing annoying amounts of lag, hence the episode title that I really shouldn't have chosen because it advertises a major flaw of the episode and no longer makes sense when you remove the laggy segments like I did in the re-edit. This episode was encoded and compressed differently than the past few episodes, which reduced the file-size from 15GB every 25 minutes to only 5GB every 25 minutes. I will also now be storing the episodes on an external hard drive, so hopefully the next episodes won't suffer from intense amounts of lag like this episode did. In the next episode, I will finally UPDATE TO 1.6!!! (1.6.4 to be exact!)

[ORIGINAL VERSION OF THIS EPISODE](lbry://@ZebGaming#1e172ff73f739f46979e5fe1389f8ab7d1bc4a87/sgzplaysminecrafte1) This is a re-edited version of the first episode of SuperGeniusZeb Plays Minecraft. The original version of this episode had almost no editing done to it, and it was way longer than it should have been, with a lot of awkward moments of silence and/or nothing interesting happening. I decided to do an edit of the episode with a lot of the worst parts either cut out or sped up, and with various little bits of trivia and jokes added in the form of yellow text scattered throughout the video. The purpose of this re-edit is to make watching the series in its entirety more enjoyable, and to try and bring the earlier episodes closer to the quality of the later ones. Overall, I think this re-edit turned out pretty well. I managed to take a 46-minute mess of awkward periods of silence, messed-up or unfinished sentences, and a lot of nothing happening, and I managed to compress it into a far more enjoyable 28-minute episode with a bit more professionalism, a bit more humor, and a whole lot more cuts and timelapses. I still don't think it's perfect though. Obviously, there's no way I could take this episode and using editing to make it amazing, but after finishing this re-edit, I noticed some things I could have done better: a couple more things I could have edited out, some more bits of trivia I should have added, some repositioning/resizing of some of the added text to be easier to read and less obtrusive, and other little things like that. Additionally, as I was nearing completion of this project, I noticed that the project framerate was set to 29.97fps, while the original video was 60fps. I tried to change the project framerate, but Kdenlive didn't handle it very well and all the transitions, effects, and text overlays got messed up. I didn't want to redo all the work I had done, so I decided to just live with the lower framerate and finish the re-edit. If Kdenlive improves its project framerate conversion methods, or if I ever get bored and feel like coming back to this episode again, I'll probably do another re-edit... I guess it would be called a re-re-edit? So anyway, if you haven't seen the original version of this episode, you may be wondering: what happens in this episode? Well, I decide to start a survival Minecraft let's play series, and I open up the oldest world I have. After entering the barely-used world for the first time in over 2 years, I proceed to improve my rather basic little shelter, make some tools, plant some trees, and punch some trees. I also showcase my very amateur mob-fighting skills and get killed a couple of times. And that's about it. I wish I could have done more, but what's done is done, and that's something I definitely can't fix with editing.
