The camera follows two hikers on one of this park's many scenic trails.
Views of Point Dume (North-West) and Santa Monica mountains are some of this park's main attractions. Wildflowers are ubiquitious if you visit in the spring.

The bench faces south. Note Palos Verdes and Catalina Island in the distance. Also note that a wide-angle lens distorts the image and makes objects seem much more distant than they actually are.
This hand-held shot was done with a Panasonic PV-GS200 miniDV camcorder.

Call this macro-videography (up-close-and-personal videography).
Overcast (gray-sky) weather helped in this early Oct. 2005 clip.
The audio mic may be so good, it picks up the camcorder's own noise.

Less than 30 miles from downtown Los Angeles, is LA county's highest geographical location: Mt.San Antonio (aka Mt. Baldy). The summit is a bit over 10,000 ft.
The upper ski-lift station, at ~8600 ft., is not far from the summit.
The ski station building is behind the videographing camcorder in this clip.
This is a natural-sound recording. If you listen carefully, you can hear the ski-lift attendant say: "Raise yer bar up!"
