I've tested both of these cards recently on older hardware, but not on a comparatively newer system. Both are supposed to be PCIe Gen 4 cards, so how did they do? Today I am trying one of the many ways to convert a Master Boot Record drive to the required GUID Partition Table format to be able to download and start using Windows11. The method I am using is from #Microsoft and is one of the suggested methods when moving to #Win11 from 10. How hard is it to convert from #MBR ? I could buy a cheap Optiplex and throw a Graphics card in to call it a day, but I still had that Xeon, just waiting to be used. I found a #SSD adapter for PCIe Gen 3 #NVMe drives, that is clearly labeled on the box, that it only works for 3rd Generation PC interface. But, I have a 4th Gen drive, did you think I WASN'T going to try it? Some of you know me all too well. My apologies - I did not qualify for Amazon's Affiliate program and have removed all links.
