The first part of this peaceful meditation is using your senses to one by one imagine the sight, sound, smell and feel of peace. We finish the meditation by going beyond the senses to embrace the quiet stillness of peace that dwells within you.
I hope you find this practice freeing, healing, and full of peace.
It is a conscious choice to turn inward to peace. It is already in you, it is just a simple act of accepting the aliveness of it in your heart. As the Buddha says, Peace comes from within, do not seek it without. And also as Jesus often said: Peace be with you.
So close your eyes and choose peace, now. A peaceful heart. A peaceful mind. A peaceful body. A peaceful spirit.
Let’s now enter into peace through our imagination. First with visualization. What scene in your imagination brings you peace? Maybe it’s a place in nature, or a cozy quiet spot in your home. Go there now look at what you are seeing that brings peace to you right now. What colors do you see, what animals or objects, or any other vision. Take the next minute to visualize peace.
Now I want you to breathe in this peace. What fragrance or smell are you breathing in that gives you peace? Maybe it is the salt water of the ocean, or the fragrance of a beautiful flower, or a favorite dish coming from the kitchen. Smell in this peace and the comfort that comes with each breath you take for the next minute.
Now let us listen to the voice or sound of peace. Maybe it is the universal sound of Om, or another mantra. Perhaps it is the chirping of a bird, or gentle waves touching the shoreline. Listen and take in the peacefulness of this sound within you for the next minute.
Finally, what physical touch brings you peace. Maybe it is a hug with someone you love. Maybe it is petting a dog or cat. Perhaps it is putting your hands together to pray. Perhaps it is feeling your feet on sand or the earth. Imagine now this physical sensation and allow it to bring you peace from within for the next minute.
Let us end with stillness, letting go of all of these sensations and focusing only on the idea of peace itself. Breathe in this everlasting peace, and breathe out any barriers to it including thoughts or feelings. Just be in the presence of stillness and complete inner peace, that goes beyond any understanding.
Breathe in, and breathe out letting go of any tension or pull to disrupt this peace in any way at all. May peace be with you now as we sit deeply in stillness for the next five minutes. Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.

This imagination meditation followed by affirmations of radiant health and happiness is based on Neville Goddard's following quote, and the I remember when technique: "Look at yourself in the mirror and dare to see radiant health and happiness reflected back to you. Then say within yourself: 'I remember when my reflection was so different." Persist in seeing your new image reflected there and you will resurrect that state".
