Artist city, country: Dallas, Texas, U.S.A. Artist Biography: Formed in the Summer of 2013, Amethyst quickly gained a global fan base. The band followed up it's Tour Your Heart Out tour by releasing it's first stand alone single , "Wastelands" in March of 2014. Spending the next five months refining their sound, Amethyst entered the studio in September of that year to begin recording their second EP, Dreamwalker. The first single from the EP, "Silence," was released in November and they immediately began filming the accompanying music video. Amethyst will begin their third tour in March of this year and will be releasing their new EP Dreamwalker early this Spring. About The Video: "When we sat down and started talking over concepts for the video, we decided that we wanted to do something more than just a performance shoot, we wanted to try to tell a story. Working with the producers we came up with the idea of having an actress who was running from her own fears and insecurities. In the end, she winds up right back where she started, sort of like how we sometimes don't learn from our mistakes and repeat the same things over and over."
