***CURRENTLY DISABLED*** In this brief guide, we will cover the easiest way to buy and sell LBC to avoid all the stress and extra work of going through an exchange. I recommend using any swap exchange that offers LBC as a trading pair, though I use Simpleswap myself. When you go to Simpleswap, you want to pick the currency you are sending and the one you want to receive. In the case of buying, LBC is the second one listed, and the first when selling. You need a minimum of 1100 LBC to sell on Simpleswap so if you have less, you will need to use an exchange. If you are buying, the last minimum was 0.25 ETH. Depending on whether you’re buying or selling, you will take the address you want to receive the tokens on and paste it in the address form beside submit, then submit. An order will be created, and they will give you a one time address to send your crypto to. Once completed you will see the process go through it confirms, exchanges, and sends you your funds. To send funds from LBRY, go to your wallet then click send credits under your balance, input the receiving address and the amount to send. To receive, copy your address from the “Your Address” button under your balance. In this brief guide, we will cover how to post and delete reposts on LBRY. We will also briefly look at how you use reposts to change the URL name, but we will dive deeper into the naming system in another episode. To start we will cover reposting. Under any video, you will see: Share, Repost, and Support. When you click repost a small window will pop up. From there, you can choose which channel you want to repost on from the dropdown menu. Next you choose the URL which the repost will exist on. This is a way to help better curate the system. For example, if you were to repost this repost episode currently under the “repost” URL, you could also repost it under the “reposts” name so that if someone searched “reposts” this would also appear in that search. This is a way you can curate your own content and others. Depending on the deposit will also determine whether or not the repost will take over the current top claim. What this means is say someone has already posted “test” as in the picture above, then you would have to deposit more than their deposit to take the top spot from them.
