Continuing straight on from part 1, the next part of this massive ride sees the Mk5 1000w/66cc Hybrid conquer the steep gravel hills of the mountain trails. After another rest stop after the climb, I head deeper into the bush - coming up in the next instalment. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vloc-YHLtbs
I've been riding this bike for 3 days. How many of you are out there actively practicing hard braking, or would you just zoom through the intersection on the amber light?

It didn't work, but that's OK, this was a fun little project that was cut short by the nuisance problem of a stripped exhaust bolt.
The idea here was to try and manufacture a cheap replacement exhaust gasket to use in an emergency situation. The belt I had on hand was due to go IN THE BIN! anyway so I had no issue cutting it up. The main problem I faced in this project was that the belt itself was too narrow for the exhaust flange meaning there was minimal coverage.
I don't think I'm done with this project yet, I just need to find a bigger belt to cut up.

This is not a product review. But my new lav mic that was literally twice the price of my old one is absolute rubbish quality.
I'm uploading this video to feed the algorithm.

After having sorted out the battery on the Mk5, I set out for a test ride on the e-bike front hub... But the lure of the 2 stroke was too much to resist, as always! All in all the bike is working reasonably well, considering the front wheel has a bit of a wobble in it still.

It seems to me that many riders balk at the idea of riding a small capacity motorcycle on the freeway but that has never stopped me!
The CB125F has proven to be more capable on the freeway than I think many people give it credit for.

I've always been curious about the differences between the carbs on the motorised bike engines vs the pocket bike engine so today I decided to pull apart the carby on the 49cc 2 stroke just for curiosity's sake.
Sorry for the abysmal audio quality. No apologies for the sh---y camera work.

I made this thing and even I still get lost! The path isn't actually random although it's designed to feel like it is. There is an actual pathway and once you figure it out, you'll be set. The button puzzle is probably the most frustrating part, so the solution is this:
The buttons are like a combination lock, you've got to hit the right combinations and go back through the door to teleport to the right locations.
the buttons are set out like
1 3
2
SO, hit button 1 by itself, collect your chest, make your way back.
Then hit button 3 by itself, collect your chest, make your way back.
Then hit buttons 1 and 2 together, collect your chest, make your way back.
Now hit buttons 2 and 3 together, you'll appear in the hallway above the button puzzle. Follow the door to the right, you'll appear in the secret passage where you found your armour. Go through and talk to Grandfather who will give you a Brass Key and hint about a shortcut to get through
the caves. Go back through the secret passage and you'll find yourself at the button puzzle again.
Hit buttons 2 and 3 together again, but this time go back out the door on the LEFT, which will take you back to the entrance of the dungeon.
