“Vote or Die - Deal with the Devil!” mural by street artist Crisp was painted last Wednesday to highlight the importance of voting. Especially considering the turmoil and division unfolding in the US and the climate impacts we have seen here in Australia through bushfires and drought!
Unfortunately, it has been deemed “too political” by someone in the community and was defaced overnight robbing the opportunity for locals to see it. “It’s a sad day when artists are being censored and are unable to paint thought-provoking and political art,” said one local business owner.

People using medicinal cannabis could soon be allowed to get behind the wheel in Queensland as the government considers a major shake-up to drug driving laws.
A state review will consider changes amid an uptake of the drug for pain relief and other ailments.
It comes as police see a spike in the amount of drivers who take the marijuana for medicinal purposes testing positive at roadside tests.
But Today reporter Mia Glover told Laurel, Gary & Mark the psychoactive portion of cannabis is not always removed for medicinal purposes.
“I think that’s the concern, that psychoactive ingredient is still sometimes in that cannabis,” she said.
“I think that’s the big concern: they’ll have to figure out what the effects of are of that on someone who is behind the wheel.
Mia said there’s been a mixed reaction to potential reforms from drivers.

A producer of YouTube comedian Friendlyjordies has been arrested for allegedly stalking and intimidating NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro.
Kristo Langker, 21, who works for Jordan Shanks, also known as Friendlyjordies, was arrested from his Dulwich Hill home on June 4.
The arrest comes after the Deputy Premier launched legal action against Mr Shanks over what his legal team have labelled a series of "vile and racist" videos accusing Mr Barilaro of corruption.
Mr Langker was charged with two counts of stalk/intimidate with an intent to cause fear of physical or mental harm.
NSW Police said the first of the alleged offences occurred on April 19 at Macquarie University where Mr Barilaro was speaking.
The second event occurred in Sydney on June 4, the same day Mr Langker was arrested.
Xenophon Davis, lawyers acting for Mr Shanks's team, disputed the NSW Police version of events, labelling the arrest of Mr Langker "highly alarming".
"We are highly disturbed by misinformation that police appear to have acted upon," the firm's partner Mark Davis said in a statement.
"We have the video of the interaction with the Deputy Premier and it does not appear to accord with the police facts."
Mr Davis told the ABC that Mr Langker had asked Mr Barilaro "legitimate journalistic questions" and it was outrageous they were arrested for what he described as "trivial actions".
Mr Davis said defending the charges against Mr Langker was putting pressure on Mr Shanks's ability to fight the defamation allegations against him.
The comedian, his lawyer said, could face bankruptcy from Mr Barilaro's lawsuit.
