Exploring a wonderful gorge in the Austrian Alps. There definitely are larger and more impressive gorges than the Johannesbachklamm in Lower Austria. But as you can see in my video, it nonetheless is a great place to visit. This about 1 kilometer long canyon cuts through a beautiful piece of nature.
On this day , was almost by myself when walking along the path and wooden bridges. And what's best: The exploring the gorge is for free! I had a great time.

Exploring Weissenkirchen in Austria on a wonderfull day in spring. The town is located in the Wachau, a valley along the Danube river which is famous for its fantastic white wines.
In 800, sources mention Weissenkirchen in Austria for the first time. Today, the town is a famous tourist spot. Noteworthy is the magnificent gothic church which gave the town its name (Weissenkirchen = white church). In the video, you can see me going there around the 15:00 mark. You can even hear the organ playing!
Apart from the church there are many other old buildings. The whole town has a very nice medieval atmosphere.

Making a forest walk in Europe in 4K on a sunny day in spring. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxed and helped to clear the mind.
Since I didn't know the area very well I had no idea where I would end up so it was a little bit exciting. I also enjoyed the warmth of spring and to feel a gentle breeze on my skin.
There were a lot of European Oaks growing in this forest. The European Oak tree likes places with a lot of light. Walking through this forest and being surrounded by all the fresh green of spring was really a nice experience.

Taking a walk through the marvellous Schönbrunn Palace gardens on a hot summer day. From the big court in front of the palace I make my way through the rose garden which is a popular spot for taking pictures. After exploring the garden and an artificial temple ruin I reach the large fountain in its center.
Next, I follow a nice path through a small forest to the famous Gloriette pavillon at the top of the palace garden's hill. From there, I enjoy the nice view of the Schönbrunn palace and parts of the city of Vienna.

In this video I am walking to Lake Neusiedl in Austria. The country's largest lake is very flat (2 meters maximum depth) and surrounded by a reed belt that is several kilometers wide.
On this day the weather was beautiful and I enjoyed my walk through through the reed belt until I finally reached the water. When walking towards the lake you can't hear any noises. It's almost completely silent. Inly occasionally you can hear the wind, some birds or frogs. It was a very calm and relaxing experience.
I recorded only the last few minutes of my walk but I still wanted to share this video with you.

In this video I am taking a walk through a sunny beech forest in Austria. This place is close to the area where I grew up as a child and I enjoy coming here because of the serene atmosphere. In autumn you can find differents kinds of mushrooms like golden chantarelle, horn of plenty and also penny bun.
Not much happens in this video as I am just following a trail through the woods. But if you enjoy nature you might find this to be quite relaxing. At the end of the video I leave the forest and continue walking along a small road which allows a nice view of the surrounding area.

Taking a relaxed walk through the Austrian town Fels am Wagram on a calm Monday morning. Located in a wine growing area close to the Danube River, this quiet town doesn't boast important sights. Nonetheless, it's a nice place where visitors can experience the peaceful life in the Austrian countryside.
