I originally posted this video several days ago but I quickly took it back down to remove some pretty big errors that became very apparent shortly after it was posted. In a recent video, I discussed what George Washington paid to become an Entered Apprentice when was initiated in 1774. After I put that video up I continued to do some research and I found a more accurate website to calculate the worth of 2 pence and 3 shillings to modern equivalents. I feel that the difference is significant enough to create a follow-up video. Enjoy! I usually enjoy making my videos but this video has been the exception to the rule. I try to avoid negative topics because Masonic Improvement is intended to be a positive and optimistic approach geared towards the betterment of Freemasonry. I won't lie, I've considered scrapping this video numerous times but I find myself between a rock and a hard place. On one hand, I want to delete this video and create some content that is more positive...but on the other hand, this is a story that needs to be told and if I don't share it now then I'll have to do it further down the road anyhow.
