Being the first film in the Moving Stills library, this video was created while riding my bicycle through eight countries. It took two years to finish, and was my graduation capstone project for my Indiana University undergraduate degrees, Journalism and Environmental Studies. It was early in my photographic career. So please forgive the over-saturated and under-contrasted images. Just know that it was a college project, and that should be good enough. And since it's the first attempt, it was finished before I was done cycling. By the time I finished, I'd traveled through 12 countries and ridden more than 14,000 miles on three continents. This was to set the pace, to use a pun, for the rest of my travel, photography, journalism, filming, book publishing and cultural awareness. And the ride isn't over yet!
