Demon Carb has been the go to carb for both looks and performance for a few years now but ever since holley has been beefing up their HP main bodies, the demon has been put on the way side. Today Ill be going through an older version of the 625 Demon Carb from back when it used to be made by barry grant. Legend has it that quality control on these older carbs was so bad, very few people had any luck with these things. I will find out for my self if I'm able to harness the power of the demon for my ls swapped dodge truck.

Today we will be installing the FuelMAX fuel pump booster by JMS. This box is an amplifier that increases voltage in order to increase the flow of the pump without having having to do anything else. This system was designed to help fuel pumps that are just out of their tuning window in high stress situations. The way that I will be using the fuel max is to have it activate once the engine is under boost in my turbo ls. I have found that my current pump can only support fueling up to 12lbs of boost before it runs out of power. With this fuel max I should be able to push this fuel pump much harder to get me towards the 20lbs of boost range on my blow through carbureted LS. In a naturally aspirated high horsepower engine you could use it to activate a wide open throttle or by a 5v referenced sensor. JMS Chip also sells other units to increase spark output as well as other modules designed to increase performance.

Today we are going over the game plan so that you guys will have a general idea of what will be involved in order to reach over 1000 to the rear wheels in my 1975 Dodge W100 Powerwagon powered by a turbocharged carbureted ls. The weapon of choice will be the easily available 5.3 iron block LM7 truck engine because its the cheapest and easiest to find. In stock trim, the engine is capable of making 600hp NA and over 1200hp with boost on stock internals with minor modifications. Fuel system will consist of a demon carb converted to e85 and a holley dual plane intake. Camshaft will be the BTR stage 1 v2 and the ignition will be sourced from Daytona Sensors. We are aiming to be the most powerful W100 in the world, so sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

Today we are looking at the MIG 205DS multiprocess welder by @YesWelder . I've had this machine for about 6 months but have only been using it seriously for about 3. I have used this welder to build my turbo kit piping, weld a waste gate to a cast steel housing, light body panel repair, bracket fabrication, and much more. So far I am loving this unit because it is light and powerful. For the price, you really cant beat a machine like this. This welding machine is great for someone trying to get their feet wet with flux core but have plans to later move onto MIG and TIG without having to buy another machine. Definitely a great value for the price!

Today I will be showing you guys how to weld up your own divided turbo flange or merge collector. This video is a part of a series of videos where you can learn to build your own cars as well as build your own turbo systems. The lesson in todays question revolves around taking a standard t4 turbo flange and take several different size pipes, crushing them to the right shape, trimming off the excess and welding it all together with flux core or mig wire.
The video starts off with taking a standard size pipe and using a hammer to form it into the shape of the T4 flange flange. Since there are 2 holes, you need to make sure to keep on side away from the other side. The second step is to outline where the exhaust pipe will be trimmed. The third step is to trim the pipe and fit it onto the divided turbo flange and thats all that there is too it. You can acomplish this task using a regular flux core welder or if you have access to a mig welder, you can mig weld the pipes together instead.

It's been almost 5 years since I first rescued this car from the junkyard back in 2016. since we have owned the car, not a lot has been done to it, just trying to keep the old girl alive and out of the scrapper. The undercarriage of the poor 2.5RS GC8 is still super rusty and the suspension is shot but the car is still alive and I'm happy to still own it!
