Hi everyone! In this video I go on an adventure to find the old Apache Tears Mine located near Superior, Arizona, and I tell you what. This location did not disappoint!
I found a TON of Apache Tears everywhere! They are in the rock walls that you can chisel out with a rock hammer, or you can simply pick them up off the ground.
An Apache Tear gemstone is a form of obsidian that occurs in Perlite. The obsidian cools down faster than the Perlite which creates a glassy nodule. The Apache Tear is translucent and has a smoky brown gray color.
I make sure to give you tons of advice on how to find this gemstone easily and quickly. I found hundreds of them and there are thousands of Apache Tears everywhere!
