Global medical training prepares to save lives on battlefield
Lt. Gen. Charles D. Luckey, commanding general of U.S. Army Reserve Command, talks about how field medical facilities and its Soldiers are prepared to save lives of warriors on the battlefield thanks to the advanced medical training they receive through Global Medic, an annual training exercise run by the Medical Readiness and Training Command at Fort McCoy, Wis. Global Medic is a strategic, joint and multinational exercise that incorporates more than 2,000 troops from all branches of the military, along with several international allies, including Canada, Germany and Britain.
