This past Friday at Mar-a-Lago at his home. Donald Trump hosted Hungarian Prime Minister, the authoritarian leader, Victor Orban. And this is not the first time, of course, that Donald Trump has been buddy, buddy with somebody that is effectively a desperate, maybe even a dictator. We know that he has nothing but praise for Vladimir Putin. We know that he loves Kim Jong-un. He has, of course, been outspoken about, uh, Erdogan and Turkey as well. But his love of dictators, according to his former Chief of Staff General John Kelly, goes far beyond the people that are just serving as dictators or authoritarian leaders today. And it goes all the way back Kelly says in a new book to Adolf Hitler himself. Now, this is not General Kelly's new book. This is actually CNN Reporter, uh, Jim Shoot's new book called, uh, the Return of Great Powers. But for his book, Mr. Shooto did in fact interview General John Kelly about Donald Trump's love of dictators. And here is what John Kelly had to say. He said, well, but Hitler did some good things. I said, well, what? And he said, well, Hitler rebuilt the economy, but what did he do with that rebuilt economy? He turned it against his own people and against the world. And I said, sir, you can never say anything good about the guy. Nothing. Kelly recounted. I mean, Mussolini was a great guy in comparison. It's pretty hard to believe he missed the Holocaust, though, and pretty hard to understand how he missed the 400,000 American gis that were killed in the European theater. Kelly told me, but I think it's more, again, the tough guy thing. Trump's admiration for Hitler went further than the German leader's. Economic policies, according to Kelly, Trump also express expressed admiration for Hitler's hold on. Senior Nazi officers Trump lamented that Hitler, as Kelly recounted, maintained his senior staff's loyalty. While Trump himself often did not. He would ask about the loyalty issues and about how when I pointed out to him, the German generals as a group were not loyal to him, and in fact tried to assassinate him a few times, and he didn't know that Kelly recalled, he truly believed when he brought us generals in that we would be loyal, that we would do anything he wanted us to do. Kelly told me, and as to the current dictators, here is what John Bolton, who of course served as an advisor to Donald Trump. John Bolton said about Trump. He views himself as a big guy. He likes dealing with other big guys. And big guys like Erdogan and Turkey get to put people in jail, and you don't have to ask anybody's permission. He kind likes that. And then General Kelly added, he's not a tough guy by any means, but in fact, quite the opposite. But that's how he envisions himself. So Just know that if we get a Donald Trump back in the White House, it'll be a Donald Trump that is not restrained. It'll be a Donald Trump that, as we all know, thanks to Project 2025, is going to pack the entire federal government down to even the frigging janitors with people who will not tell him no. So there's obviously been a lot of headlines over this last week about Donald Trump's recent appearance on Newsmax alongside host Greg Kelly. Trump, of course, was not there in person, he had to phone it in. But what's really interesting, and I think this is probably one of the bigger parts of the story here, is the fact that Greg Kelly, who is an avid Trump supporter, like absolutely loves the guy he had to sit there in what appeared to be stunned silence due to the fact that Donald Trump went so incredibly, completely off the rails during this interview. So if you haven't already seen the clip, here it is. And I said, wouldn't it really be bad, you know, with, with like as an example, Hillary with the, uh, hammering of her cell phones and all of the things she did, but wouldn't it be terrible to throw the president's wife and the former Secretary of State, think of it, the former secretary there, but the president, the president's wife into jail? Wouldn't that be a terrible thing? But they wanna do it. So, you know, it's like, it's uh, it's a terrible, terrible, uh, path that they're leading us to, and it's very possible that it's gonna have to happen to them. Greg Kelly is clearly, I don't know if stunned is the right word, but definitely irritated, not happy with what's going on, and he looks like he is just ready to call this interview quits. Let's get this guy off the air. I mean, you can see it in his eyes in that clip, right? Like, he's not loving what's happening and he understands that it's making this guy look pretty darn crazy. I mean, Trump's going off about prosecuting Hillary Clinton at one point, which was not in the clip, he talked about Mar-a-Lago is worth 2 billion, even though the courts and the auditors decided, yeah, you're like 28 million bud. Um, there were other things he went off on, of course, uh, he said that immigrants are poisoning our country. So just a real off the rails interview. And then even after that clip I just showed, uh, Greg Kelly actually did try to end the interview. He kept trying to interrupt Donald Trump to, to end it, and Trump wouldn't shut up. So Kelly was getting perturbed. Trump just kept talking. He is like, we, we gotta go. We gotta go, man. We gotta go. Which, if you're talking to the former president of the United States, somebody that you're a huge fan of, guess what? You can move those breaks. Okay? You can do that. It may not be ideal, but even a hard break, you can actually get around that and, you know, just kind of push it till later if you need to. But Kelly didn't even want to do that. He was like, get this guy off the air. This isn't good. He sounds insane. And that's because Donald Trump's mental state is obviously not very good following the conviction. And it's really funny because all through that criminal trial, like it just got worse and worse and worse. And we could see it in real time. We saw it every day when he was speaking to reporters. We saw it in the posts on truth social. We saw it with his courtroom behavior. And then now that he is actually convicted a felon, yeah, his mental state is so much worse, which is likely one of the reasons that Donald Trump, aside from a couple interviews here and there, has just remained kind of off the radar.
