Playthrough | Part 3: Level 7 - Dark Castle

We now reach the end. The final level, Dark Castle. Dark Castle has a total of seven stages with the last being the final boss against King Dedede. Note that if you don't have all the Rainbow Drops, you get the bad ending. But since we did, they become the Rainbow Sword. We use it to take on Dark Matter.

Dark Matter is a 2-phase fight. It's also a tough one and if you die, you got to redo the fight again. Also in phase 2, if it hits the ground, instant loss. So you need to strike hard and fast if you want to win. Just a heads up. You have to use the Rainbow Sword to take Dark Matter down.

With this, Kirby's Dream Land 2 is done. Next time we return with more Kirby, it's going to be Superstar. That's a fact. Thanks for watching.

Back at the end of 2021, I did a playthrough of the original N64 classic Paper Mario. Thanks to a donation by a generous friend, I was able to get my hands on this. I promised last year that I would do this but for whatever reason, I never did. Thankfully I got this all done in advance so yeah, let's get this damn playthrough underway. Welcome to Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Released in 2004 for the Nintendo Gamecube, this sequel to the original is set in a new location: Rogueport. It has Mario going on a new adventure after receiving a strange map from Princess Peach. Upon arriving, Mario butts heads with a group known as the X-Nauts. They are after sacred relics known as the Crystal Stars. What is their true objective? We don't know. What we do know is that Mario is going to have to find new allies if he is to have any chance against the X-Nauts. This part focuses on the prologue where we meet Goombella, Professor Frankly, the X-Nauts and what we have to do. Sounds familiar? Okay. We're set to rock. The Prologue is out of the way. The thing is, you are wondering what this is. Well, turns out I had a lot of Play of the Games from my OW1 days and I figure why not share them. You can see them as notalgia but I see them as a reminder of what the game was and how much I miss enjoying the original Overwatch. This is special for one other reason: because it's the only POTG I got with the original name of Jesse McCree. I hate the name Cole Cassidy and this was only doing because ActiBlizzard was in major damage control, trying to rid away any references relating to real people who had done much worse. This was one of them and the character McCree was based off the REAL Jesse McCree, a former employee of ActiBlizzard who turned out to be a scumbag. But thing is, I don't care. I still refer "Cassidy" as Jesse McCree. Been that way since 2016. If you have a problem, tell me in the comments. Playthrough Playlist: https://bit.ly/MinishNG Like Goal: 15 The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap Playthrough Part 5: Swamp through the Fortress of Winds We got our hands on the Pegasus Boots. We now use it to venture into the Castor Wilds. Without the Pegasus Boots, you aren't going to get far. Believe me. However, the main focus here is that you need to reach the Wind Ruins and it requires you to get three special Gold Kinstones. Once you get them, you need to do Kinstone Fusion in order to unlock the way to the Wind Ruins. The Wind Ruins is your next test and in here, you need to either activate or deactivate special robots in order to proceed. Eventually you'll reach the Fortress of Winds and it's where you have a lot to do to solve puzzles to reach the boss at the end. You do get your hands on the Mole Mitts. They'll help you in terms of exploration and finding stuff that will be very important. As for the boss, you'll rely on not only shrinking but also using the Mole Mitts especially in the later phase. Plus it reminds me of the Wind Waker boss. How fitting. At the end, you do get a Heart Container but also the Ocarina of Winds. That's going to help you very much in the trials ahead. That and fast transport. Also the sound is VERY familiar, a nod to Zelda 1. Part 6 is going to be more side stuff.
