Some people were asking how my new album had over 1 million streams when it had only been out for 2 weeks. The answer is that I released 12 out of the 19 songs as singles over the past 2 years, and through linking the ISRC codes to the album all those streams carry over to the album. Technically the album has those number of streams only 2 weeks into release, but the actual streams occurred over a 2 year period. In this video I talk about the difference between promoting an album on Spotify using Facebook ads and promoting a single on Spotify using Facebook ads.
