Czech Republic: Štramberk Castle & eating "ears"
I was with an amazing group of travel vloggers and bloggers from the TBEX conference, and we went to the small mountain village of Štramberk in Czech Republic. It is famous for its huge castle tower, high upon the mountain, and some unique bakery food. Oddly enough, it is famous for a very local dessert treat called an ear. In the summer time you can get it served to you with a scoop of amazing ice cream for about $1. Deal! And of course there are some very historical restaurants here to try with local home brewed beers. Thanks for watching the video. :)

In this vlog, I was just walking along the famous night time street of Mangga Besar when I stumbled upon a sneaker seller in front of the Indomaret convenient store. I went up to him to shop. He had New Balance, Nike, adidas, and other shoes.
I jokingly asked him he these were real adidas shoes? He proclaimed they are real Indonesian adidas.
The cost was 100,000 Indonesian Rupiah, or about $7 USD. Deal?

MONKEY TAIL BEARD REMOVAL!
I came to barber Sergio to get my monkey tail beard (black cat tail beard) removed and to instead leave a handsome Mexican mustache. I also asked for a nice high fade haircut to clean up my sides. Sergio felt it was a good idea to remove it. So did my friends who I brought with me.
In Mexico City, I had Michele dye my monkey tail beard to the color pitch black. I call this my BLACK CAT TAIL BEARD.

In Playa Del Carmen beach, near Cancun, I found Sergio, who grew up in Puebla Colorado. He is only 24 years old, but has been a barber for 12 years.
Like a lot of barbers, he started when he was 12 years old giving himself fade haircuts. He began to give haircuts to his friends -- and it just grew from there.
Sergio has a barbershop pole tattoo on his arm, and a barber scissor ✂️ tattoo on his cheek bone. I told him I want to be badass I like him.
He used the clippers to remove my majestic monkey tail beard, then the razor to shave me and clean it up. I hope you enjoy this barbershop experience with barber Sergio.

This hike was hard! Our group hired National Park rangers to be our guides through the lush jungles of Thailand, in Chanthaburi, Thailand.
This is Khao Sip Ha Chan National Park, which means fifteen waterfalls. We hiked to crazy heights. There are wild elephants, and so the guides were there to protect us, and keep us from meeting them. Apparently they will attack.
We were taking leeches off each other, fighting off ants and mosquitoes, and swimming in waterfalls. We hiked waterfalls, straight up cliffs.
♥️ My lovely mom had a fall early on in the hike, but still kept going strong after that. I'm so proud of her. However, this hike is very difficult, so she stayed back and let the group go on.
This was easily the biggest workout ever for me. I was exhausted. We hiked this mountain all on FRUIT.

I walked up to Domingo, with my black leather loafer shoes, and asked what the price is for a shoe shine.
I sat in his shoe shine chair and waited for him to return. When he returned, he showed me that be was buying fresh Mexican tortillas to eat.
He used black polish for the leather and black shoe polish for the black shoe soles. He cleaned up my shoes well, and made them a deep rich black shine again.
I am in... Pochutla, Oaxaca, Mexico.
20 years of experience as a shoe shiner earns Domingo a lot of respect in a major Mexican town like this.
Traveling Oaxaca has been a joy. It is nothing short of magical.
Pochutla is a main city, near Puerto Escondido, Mazunte Beach, and Zipolite Beach.
