I am glad to be back to youtube so that I could share more stories and connect with more people. I believe Thailand is home of Tom Yum and Pad Thai. You will find many restaurants selling these 2 authentic food. At this time I chose the one that I think it might be interesting to try. 1. Tom Yum Goong Restaurant name: Pe Aor Tom Yum Kung NoodleThis shop is very famous with it’s Tom Yum noodle. There’s possibility that you will queue, because there were many people visit this restaurant when I was there. 2. Pad Thai There is no restaurant name for this. I followed google map to go to “Or Tor Kor Market” to find this restaurant. It’s a hidden place and you might take a look carefully of how it looks like from this video. There is no clear sign for the restaurant. Even though it’s not located in the central city, the taste is so so yummy. I am glad I went there to try this Pad Thai. The journey of this Thailand trip has just started actually. The good news is that I will share more videos later on. It means we will have Part 3, yeay! Stay tuned. Ok here is the story. There's a cat village in Taiwan and I just got a chance to visit it this time. The location is not that far from the famous Jiufen old street. This time I explored the area with my Indonesian friends (Ujik, Mahfud and Ahsan). At the beginning, I was not sure that we could make it to 2 destinations in a day since we started a bit late from Taipei. Due to the time limit, I think we would not be able to catch the sunset moment in Jiufen because we wanted to go to Houtong cat village first. I know you were thinking why not going to Jiufen first, right? Ehm... It's actually OK, but it'll be weird to visit cat village in the night, do you think so? In Houtong cat village, I really found many cats. They live freely and many people gave them cat food. That's what makes them not afraid of human. Anyway, Jiufen in the night is very beautiful with its lampions. Have you checked it in the video? Oh ya, Do you remember a cartoon from Japan called "Spirited Away"? Many people said that the cartoon is inspired by Jiufen area, but actually it's not. They look so similar and that's why people said so. Jiufen is very famous with it's old street. We can find many food there. Unfortunately, many shops were closed already when we were there. I am not sure whether because it was Monday or because it was in the night already (just right after sunset, around 6 pm). Even though we could not buy many food, we still can enjoy the classic view with the lampions. We were happy to enjoy the moments and take some pictures. Oh ya, recently it's very often rainy, so make sure you check weather forecast and bring umbrella if needed before going here. There is a story in the end of the video. After going around, we were waiting the bus in the bus stop, not so far from the old street. We decided not to take the busses that will go to Ruifang station. We preferred to take the one that will directly arrive in Taipei. To take this bus, we had to wait very long. Once the bus almost arrived (based on the schedule), the platform said the bus service is over. OMG ?. If you were us, what do you feel after waiting so long (around 45 mins) and you saw the bus will not come? Ok, we did not give up. We decided to wait the next Taipei bus. Another time of waiting. In total we waited about 1.5 hours I guess to get on the bus. And I think the bus we took was the last bus to Taipei, because we did not see any others (after this bus) on the platform. Overall it's great to experience this trip. We might not know whether we can repeat the memories or not in the future, so I made this video to remember this day.
