Icelandic Horses: The cruel mistreatment of the blood mares
In Iceland, mares are being drained of blood for PMSG, a hormone that can help livestock become fertile faster after each weaning. Although the hormone helps the industry, they are now receiving heavy pushback due to the negligence and pain these animals go through to give their blood for us.
