Hello, Good People. Did you know that you're a talented actor/actress already? We're all method acting our lives. It doesn't make us fake. It makes us functional. In this video, we go into the concept of "Presentation of Self" by Erving Goffman, a staple text in sociology.
We also go into how this concept affects us in the modern age. How has social media changed us? How will AI change things?
I had to edit out a "Worlds Collide, Jerry!" clip from Seinfeld, but yes, this is similar to that concept. We act differently for different audiences.
