I am responding to a question. When we have a spiritual awakening, the go experiences a massive shift, it can even be destroyed (ego death). If we are not in an optimal position mentally to create a new sense of self, we can latch heavily onto the concept of being .spiritual'. This can occur to excess and a sort of 'enlightened ego' can arise. Although many of us identify heavily with being spiritual, when it becomes negative, for example, knowingly or unknowingly seeking power, manipulation and control due to our spirituality, then the enlightened ego has gone too far. What's the difference between remote viewing and astral projection (or astral travel)? The soul or astral body need not leave the physical body, the astral body is activated upon progressing to the fourth stage of existence. There is no pulling or popping out of your body.
