100W LED Flood Light Repair
I purchased a couple 100W LED flood lights from a popular ebay seller for my upcoming engine rebuild project.
I managed to disassemble the light and find inadequate contact between the aluminum PCB substrate and the case of the light which is used as a heatsink.
If you're thinking of buying these units, in my opinion they MUST be disassembled and repaired or they won't last very long, as hot spots develop on areas of the PCB and destroy the LEDs.
Caveat Emptor. You get what you pay for.
