So you may be wondering why I haven't released any content or said a single word about Atlas, the new pirate themed survival mmo game from grapeshot studios, wildcard studios sister company. The simple answer is my initial thoughts on the game were so negative that I couldn't Bring myself to make a negative video, and at the time that's all it would have been me complaining about how I could never connect to the official server, or when I did get connected rubberbanding so hard that doing michael jackson's moonwalk second nature and other random buggy issues that number too high for to mention right now. So I decided to wait, and give the devs time to try and fix some of the things that were horribly horribly wrong, that being said it has been a few weeks now since launch and some but not all of the problems have been fixed, I was finally able get my own private server with G-Portal which is working well, and I was able to log onto the official servers meet up with TagBackTv MonkeyPuzzel, Ahrali and UKGrannyGamer and get over to the island that the Titan Company has claimed as home As well as set sail in a sloop on my own server and have some fun adventures which you are seeing in the background. The game is still very buggy but that is to be expected as it is in early access which is the equivalent to alpha in most cases not being feature complete and full of bugs, but given time I feel that this will be resolved, though how much time I can not say as those of us that have played ark from day 1 know it took a rather long time to get ark to the state it is in now, and admittedly that's still not perfect. I feel that there is great potential in this game it takes elements from ark, and several really great mods, such as survival plus as one example, adds in some pirateygoodness and take it up to 11. I have had a great time playing the game after I finally could actually get in and play, and I look forward to see what grapeshot games can do with this title.
