On day 1 we checked out the beautiful lake in Bohinj and in Bled. Afterwards we crossed the mountains to go to Trenta to check out the beautiful Soca valley, what an experience that was! While making my way back from Ciwidey to Bandung I saw this huge stadium. I asked some locals and apparently it was OK to visit Si Jalak Harupat Stadium. I went in, was impressed and even got a bit lost in this stadium that was hosting the FIFA U17 World Cup. When I continued my little road trip I saw this lady selling edible snakes and I wanted to get a closer look. The water snakes were being sold alive in plastic bags. On the way back to Bandung I had some delicious foods and found a beautiful lake spot that was slightly disturbed by an awful singer though. ___________________________________________________ With my Youtube videos I aim to show a different perspective than what most travel vloggers would do by interacting with people and really getting the local insights of the places I visit. The trek to Ala-Kul lake is one of the most famous in Kyrgyzstan and because I thought it would be a tourist trap I was almost going to skip it. I decided to go for this 3-day trek anyway and I have no regrets whatsoever. Day 1: The trek starts of in the Karakol National Park passes at camp 1 and then I slept at camp 2 aka Camp Sirota. After hiking all day I reached Altyn-Arashan where I slept in a guesthouse with the same name.
