PSA: Older Pioneer CS series speaker terminal failures. lossy, short out due to insulation failure.
This covers failures of older pioneer speakers in the CS series using the push style speaker terminals.
There are failures of the terminals causing loss, intermittent sound, and failures of the phenolic insulators causing arcing and short circuits to the aluminum plate they're mounted to.
UPDATED: unfortunately marrs no longer delivers on their promises, and although they used to make a good product, they no longer deliver

Awful example of a PA system. Chineese made garbage. EQ has little or no effect. Frequency response terrible, but cheap and flashy disco lights make it sell apparently.
