Ok so you've got a clock on your phone, but you don't want to be getting your phone out all the time, sometimes you've got too much stuff in your hands, other times you're in an area where you don't really want to be flashing it around. Buy a cheap reliable watch, you'll be grateful for it in the long run
4. Not trying the local cuisine.
If you travel to a foreign country and order a Big Mac you deserve a slap! Taste the local cuisine! Be adventurous! It'll broaden your palette and your horizons, and quite possibly make you realize just how shitty a Big Mac really is!
5. Packing the wrong shoes
Think about where you're going and what you're going to be doing before you pack your shoes, and always, always, always put comfort as a priority.
6. Don't overpack your suitcase!
Don't pack dress shoes or heels if you only plan to use them once, a pair of casual sneakers or sandals work just as well and weigh less. If you're going to a tropical paradise, you won't need 3 sweatshirts, so research the climate of the places you are going to travel and pack accordingly.
7. Don't overpack your days!
You're on holiday! relax! you may want to see all the sights, but planning too much for one day can't leave you tired out and stressed. It's better to fully enjoy seeing 5 sights than to stress and rush through 8.
8. Forgetting about your laundry
If you are travelling for an extended period of time, remember to research where you intend to do your laundry. Some hotels and hostels don't have laundry facilities so be sure to plan where you intend to wash your clothes and allow time for doing it in your schedule! Trust me, when you're travelling there's nothing worst than crusty undies
9. Forgetting your Charger
Don't leave your charger plugged into the wall when you aren't charging your phone, always put it back in your pack and take it out every time you need it. Get into this habit and you'll never forget your phone charger again.
10. Forgetting to tell your bank.

2. Antique Road Show
Up until 2011 there was an import ban on cars in Cuba. The vast majority of wheels on the road are vintage 1950s American classics. It’s like stepping back in time seeing fleets of pre-embargo Chevys, Chryslers and Cadillacs still in active circulation on the island.
3. Cuba Has 9 UNESCO World Heritage Sites
Seven are cultural sites and two are natural sites. These include the colonial cities of Old Havana, Trinidad and Camagüey, Alejandro de Humboldt National Park and the tobacco growing region of Viñales Valley.
4. Castro Banned the Beatles
In 1964 he declared a ban of Beatles music. However, fast forward a few decades and Castro himself presided over a ceremony to dedicate a bronze statue of John Lennon in a Havana park, now aptly named John Lennon Park.
5. Kennedy Stocked up on Cubans

7. Cuba Has Some Unique Creatures
The world’s smallest bird, the bee hummingbird, lives there. They have one of the planet’s smallest frogs, and the prehistoric Manjuari fish. It’s a bizarre, primitive skeletal fish that’s like a biological link between fish and mammals. There are over 3000 plant species found nowhere else.
8. Cuban Tourism is Booming (Just Not for Americans)
Tourism is one of the island’s main sources of revenue, also Medical tourism, as Cuba’s health care standards are impressive. London's smallest police station, some 200-year-old graffiti, and a secret pet cemetery are just some of the secrets hidden inside Hyde Park! Stay tuned to see them all!
1. Deer Park.
Hyde Park wasn't always a public park, it was created by Henry VIII who reclaimed the land from the monasteries in order to create a Deer Park to use as his private hunting grounds and it wasn't until the 17th century that Charles I opened it to the general public. In 1728, George II separated Kensington Gardens from Hyde Park to give to his wife by damming River Westbourne to create the Serpentine Lake.
2, Pet cemetery
If you go down to Victoria Gate Lodge on Bayswater Road and peek through the fences and hedges you may catch a glimpse of hundreds of mini gravestones. It started in 1881, when a terrier called Cherry died, the dog belonged to friends of the lodgekeeper who allowed them to bury the dog in the lodge's gardens, the word spread, and over the next 20 years over 1000 pets were buried in the gardens it was closed in 1903 due to lack of space and now only opens to the public on rare occasions.
3. The Peter Pan Cup
Even though it wasn't until 1930 that a section of the Serpentine lake was transformed into an outdoor swimming pool, people swam in the lake long before that and a Christmas swimming race held there by the Serpentine Swimming Club dates back to 1864. It wasn't until 1904 that the competition got the name The Peter Pan Cup and this was because that year, J. M. Barrie, the author of Peter Pan, donated the prize to celebrate Peter Pan's first appearance on the London Stage. Now every year at 9 AM on Christmas day, members of the Serpentine Swimming Club don their swimming costumes to take part in a 100-yard handicap race in the barely above zero-degree waters of the Serpentine.
4. Ye Olde Graffiti
This summer house was designed by William Kent for Queen Caroline and after completion in 1735, it became known as Queen Carolines Temple. In the early 1800s, it was opened to the general public and some vandals decided to leave their mark on the walls inside of the temple, just imagine that for a second, 19th-century graffiti artists, in top hats and tails tagging with quills and ink wells. This graffiti still remains there today, 200 years later!
5. Speakers' Corner
Located on the Northeast edge of the park and overlooking Marble Arch. Speakers' Corner is marked out by a set of stairs and a sign, even though it was never really was used by anyone. People did gather together inside the park to preach and protest and the park has even had people like George Orwell and Karl Marx preach socialist philosophies within its grounds, but there never was a specific area where the talks took place, Speakers' Corner was only made to commemorate that they did.

The region is currently experiencing one of the worst droughts seen in the past 10 years
Without long-term data, it's difficult to say with absolute certainty that climate change contributed to Lake Atescatempa's depletion
Other human activity, from resource extraction to agricultural malpractice, could also be to blame. However, climate change is a likely culprit.
People affected by Lake Atescatempa's drought have reportedly received rations of beans, rice, flour, and oil. But indigenous communities have struggled to secure these rations.
