Giovanni is one of the Kanto Leaders in the Pokémon World Tournament that can be battled in either the Kanto Leaders or World Leaders Tournaments. Giovanni is skilled in using Ground type Pokémon. Rhyperior will use Drill Run and Stone Edge for easy critical hits. Golem will use Stealth Rock to hurt those who switch out and Roar to force switching out. Nidoking will use Sludge Wave to poison anyone that gets hit with this move. Marowak will use Bonemerang to strike twice and Outrage to strike repeatedly for 2-3 turns. Sandslash will use Sandstorm to make its Sand Veil ability take effect so it can’t be hit easily. Nidoqueen will use Thunder to paralyze opponents and Poison Jab to poison opponents. A move like Scald would be good to attack the opposing team.

Marowak is on Level 30. Because it inhabits the spirit of the ghost, it cannot be captured regardless of any ball you throw so you have no choice but to defeat it. After you defeat it, its soul will depart to the afterlife and you can rescue Mr. Fuji on the 7F.

Place the spring under the opening and grab the key by bouncing off the spring to go through the opening. Cross over a pit of Munchers and run up a watermelon ramp to enter a yellow pipe. Go up the next yellow pipe and watch for seahorses that lurk from the water. The 4th Yoshi Coin is over a mushroom tower. After navigating the water area, go down the pipe and you’ll find the 5th Yoshi Coin by a duo of blue Paratroopas. Navigate a few platforms and insert the key into its hole to open a secret path on the map.

When Simisear uses Overheat, the Fire Gem gives it extra power for once but it sharply lowers its user’s Special Attack stat. Heatmor will use Sunny Day to power up Fire type moves for 5 turns and Sucker Punch to strike first. Darmanitan will use Flare Blitz for big damage while hurting itself in the process and U-turn to switch out. Arcanine will use Extremespeed to strike first and SolarBeam with a Power Herb taking effect for once so the move can be used right away. Camerupt will use Stone Edge for critical hits and Explosion when in danger. Emboar has 3 different moves that give itself recoil damage. A move like Hydro Pump would work best for this battle.
