insane clown posse - the great milenko (hollywood, white promo) 1997
due to the controversy from this record icp finally got mainstream attention they wanted after years of being some local homeless crackheads, great milenko was originally released under disney owned hollywood records, the album was taken off shelves by the label on the same day it was released because of some pride shit that would hurt the disney family friendly image, this was huge news back then and it later got re-released on island records, the songs are exactly the same as the re-release other than the hollywood version has 3 songs missing (under the moon, boogie woogie wu & the game show)..before the release, icp also had to re-record the entire album with street slangs because it was too violent for mickey (example: "shot him in the face" became "peeled his cap back with my 9"), two songs from the unchanged version can be found on ff 2 and mutilation mix (piggy pie & the dating game)
