Taking Down a Large Spruce Tree - Time Lapse - UHD 4K
I decided to try something new today. I shot this time lapse video how "Green Leaf Tree Service" from Innisfil was taking down a large spruce tree in my backyard. The guys did really good job.
In this video I give step-by-step instructions and show how to adjust the rear spring preload on Kawasaki Vulcan 900. I also talk about how the rear shock absorber and spring preload work. Here is the practice and a little bit of theory.

A video with a lot of very cool choppers and custom bikes from the 2020 Supershow in Toronto. You need to see it! A lot of super awesome motorcycle paint jobs.
It is winter and pretty cold here in Toronto to ride... BUT it is the best time for all those who are hungry for anything motorcycles related. It is the time to go to the North American International Motorcycle Supershow.

In this video I go through the steps how to activate (fill with electrolyte) and charge a new AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery. I also go through all DOs and DON'Ts of the AGM battery activation and initial charge.
Battery used: Yuasa AGM Battery YTX12-BS - YUAM3RH2S (https://www.yuasabatteries.com/battery/ytx12-bs/)
Charger used: NOCO Genius G1100 (1.1A, 6V & 12V)
"When you buy an AGM battery, you either get it Factory Activated or Bottle Supplied.
If you have a Factory Activated battery, it is filled with electrolyte, sealed and charged. In this case you just install it on your bike, and you are done. You don’t need to watch this video further then. Instead check another one where I show how to install the battery on the bike.

I have a dry battery with the electrolyte supplied in the plastic container. Before you activate the battery make sure that a foil sealing strip is in place with no damages. When you unseal it, you need to activate and charge it right away otherwise it will begin to oxidize that is not good for the battery.
Activation of the AGM battery is pretty straight forward, but you need to keep in mind a couple things to make it right.
- Never use anything else to activate the battery other than the supplied container with the electrolyte. It has a high concentration of sulfuric acid, more concentrated that the electrolyte for conventional batteries, and it would be unsafe to use something else. Supplied containers also have exact amount of the electrolyte required.
- Make sure you read the instructions that came with the battery.
- Never smoke when you activate the battery.
- Wear gloves and protective eye wear.
Steps to activate the battery:
- Put the battery on a level surface.
- Remove the electrolyte container from the plastic bag.
- Remove the strip of caps from the container, don’t through it away as we will use it later. Do not pierce or open the foil seal from the electrolyte container. Do not separate the containers one from another.
- Place the electrolyte container with the foil seals face down into the cell filler ports on the battery, hold the container level and carefully push it down to break the foil seals. Electrolyte will start to flow into the battery. You should see air bubbles inside the container. Do not tilt the container. Electrolyte is flowing, so we are good. If no air bubbles are coming up, tap the container slightly, don’t tilt it.
- Leave it for 20 min.
- After 20 minutes check if container cells emptied completely. If not slightly tap the container or battery a few times, so electrolyte flows into the battery again. Do not remove the container until it is completely empty.
- When it is empty,

The weather was gorgeous today in South Ontario, great for a nice ride on the bike. I rode my Kawasaki Vulcan 900 along rural roads in Simcoe County. I experimented with my camera trying different views and angles. I hope you'll enjoy it.

I drove to Ottawa a couple of days ago and decided to make a time lapse video of the last couple of hours of my trip as I took the "Scenic Route" first time in many years. I quickly reached Ottawa and eventually got lost there. While I was wondering around busy downtown streets of Ottawa, I captured a lot of historic sites, interesting buildings and other great views. I even passed by the Parliament Building. This a very busy time lapse video, rich in stunning views, colorful sky, urban paysages, historic sites and beautiful architecture. As you can see I have a lot of sky on this video as I wanted to show how it was transitioning while I drove to Ottawa.

This is probably one of the most beautiful views in Innisfil. I say probably because I think I have not found the best view yet. This is a view East from from 20th Sideroad between 6th and 7th Lines.
