Alan-Sabrosky-If-We-Give-Jews-The-False-Ground-of-The-Holoca
Anytime anyone wants to lock you up for questioning their story, its 100% certain that their story is a lie. What I don't know is when the Holocaust narrative became part of the public discussion. In my very good public high school, in the late 1950's, and in college in the 1960's, there was no mention of the holocaust. Not in texts, not in lectures, and this was very close to WW2, where one would of thought there would at least be some mention of it.
By the early 1970's it was everywhere in lectures and texts. So somewhere in that 10 year period, from the early 1960's to the early 1970's, the holocaust narrative become not merely embedded but enshrined and a major tool to be used in which the existence of the Holocaust itself was seen as both a reason to support Israel and a reason never to criticize it. Basicaly it was its get out of jail free card, or if you wish its get out of atrocity free card.
And so right now, they've got the Congress, they've go the media in this country, they've got the high road, they've got the publishing houses. We've got holocaust memorials on almost every cross roads and corner gas station in the United States - or we will have shortly, and they've exended it to a number of other key countries. We have not organized, we have not set up an equivalent to AIPAC, we have essentially functioned in a disorganized, disjointed, unfocused way, and we have bought their narrative on the holocaust and anti-semitism to the point that we will go to extreme lengths to avoid being targeted with that brush.
We have to face up it, we have to confront them, we have to fight them on their preferred ground, because if we give them the high ground of the Holocaust and new anti-semitism unchallenged, they have won forever.
I don't watch television, but one Saturday morning out of curiosity I decided to watch ABC for four hours from 8 until noon. I think I would probably rather go to the gulag rather than do another four hours of that, but in that four hours and five shows
there are 7 references to the holocaust, holocaust survivors, or Nazis. And it's not something that's in your face, its just mentioned and there. And this is the most effective form of political socialization. The overt former political socialization is what communist regimes did, where everyone would march in the street waving banners and chanting slogans the rest of it, and you had overt support, but when push came to shove there was no support at all. This type of indirect and subtle socialization is what they sold, and that's why a very large majority of Americans today support what the US government is doing in the middle east with regards to Israel. The third thing that let the Israelis generally, and AIPAC and the Zionists in particular, do so well was that they found a pair of tools that they could use. Tools that they could use both to garner sympathy and support, and to beat down opposition, and one of these is obviously the holocaust. And they have been very successful at this. People in the anti-zionist movement will lower their heads and look aside and try and dodged the bullet of criticism of being a holocaust denier.
