One of the most difficult roads in our Black Sea trip was to reach a remote waterfall at the heart of the dense forest with a road only for one car. Trabzon, was an important city throughout history and the city has served as the capital city of Trebzonid Monarchy up until 15th century when it was captured by the Ottoman Empire. The city continued to be an important part of the Ottoman Empire but has remained a small town until 1950's when massive immigration and unplanned urbanization has unfortunately damaged the authenticity of the old Trabzon.
