Different Countries have different customs, different languages and different cultures, so it's only natural for them to have different rules too. Just as we may see different cultures as exotic and strange, some of their rules may also seem a little odd. Here are the 8 Weirdest rules in the world!
1. Singapore
Chewing, gum is forbidden in Singapore! No sorry! that's "Chewing gum" is forbidden in Singapore, not only can't you chew it but you can't buy it, sell it, or even bring it into the country. The penalty for selling gum can be as high as a $100,000 fine or two years in prison. The only gum allowed is medicinal or nicotine gum, and it can only be sold in pharmacies.
2. Germany
Stopping on the motorway for any reason is against the law. German motorways or "Autobahn" are highly maintained roadways with rest areas and emergency lanes were you can pull over if you run out of gas. stopping on the actual motorway is illegal and carries hefty fines, this is because vehicles traveling on the autobahn can be going very fast, depending on location and weather conditions, vehicles are allowed to go up to "asfastasyoucan" MPH! that's "Allyou'vegot" KmPH!
3. South Australia
"Speak now or forever hold your peace!" well actually in South Australia it's more like "Shut up now and forever hold your peace!" The reason for this weird rule is actually quite simple. The idea was to increase tourism. People who want to see the beauty of Bergun, have to visit. you can't just show your friends how beautiful it is, you have to tell them and if they want to see it, they have to visit!
6. Longyearbyen

The COVID-19 Pandemic has affected everyone, everywhere! But as far as the economy is concerned the sector that has suffered the most is probably that of tourism. Since the outbreak began we have learned new ways to work, new ways shop, new ways to communicate, and even new ways to learn! Now that it seems clear that the pandemic will continue for at least another year, we need to find new ways to travel or Tourism will be another COVID Casualty.
Here are some tips on How To Travel Safely During COVID-19 Pandemic
1. Do your research
Just as you would normally check your travel itinerary before leaving, you should now check to see if your Transport and your lodgings have anti-covid measures in place. Covid measures should take precedence over others, for example, a room with a balcony that allows for air circulation is now more desirable than a fixed window with a sea view.
2. A to B
Make your trip as direct as possible, and if possible travel by car. Avoid public transport as much as possible. Avoid public rest stops and stop only when necessary, bring snacks and drinks with you to avoid queues, and wash or sanitize your hands before and after every stop.
3. The Great Outdoors
Respiratory virus transmission mainly occurs indoors, air circulation greatly diminishes the risk, so stay outdoors!. If you have to eat at a restaurant opt for one with outdoor seating and at least 2 meters between tables. Choose outdoor activities like walking and biking over indoor ones, it'll put you less at risk and it's better for you too!
4. Avoid flying
As with any public transport, airports are a risk mainly because of the amount of people that pass through them, If you can, avoid them. If you do have to fly, make sure your airline has anti-covid measures in place and that allows for social distancing. whilst in the airport, be aware of everything you touch and sanitize directly afterwards. Most commercial Aircraft have an air circulation system with approximately 50% outside air and 50% recirculated through HEPA filters, even so, a badly timed sneeze is all it takes so wear your mask onboard!
5. Packing
When preparing for your trip there are a few additional things you should add to your list. Hand sanitizer and hand soap, sanitizing hand wipes, water and snacks for the journey, and n95 face masks, bear in mind that an n95 mask is good for about 8 hours of continual use before becoming saturated and requiring a change, when packing, allow for this and the possibility that one may break or get damaged. when it comes to masks the more the merrier!
6. Be Ingenious!
If you're going to see family members try to avoid staying in their home, book lodgings nearby, or hire a caravan or motorhome or just get a tent and camp on their lawn. Remember that humanity's ability

When you book your trip to Jamaica, the odds are good that you’re headed for a spirited, but relaxing island vacation. But there's much more to Jamaica than great music and gorgeous weather. So follow these tips to keep safe and have fun while visiting Jamaica.
1. Don’t Forget About the State Department
You should know before you travel that both s*xual as*ault and armed r*bbery are common throughout the nation, in some cases even inside gated resorts.
2. Don’t Expect Help From the Cops
The Jamaican police force is universally underpaid and understaffed. Their attention is mostly focused on more serious crime so a tourist’s stolen camera doesn’t rank high on their list of priorities.
3. Don’t Try to Get Around Without a Driver
In Jamaica, they drive on the wrong, -well, left side of the road. It can be a little perplexing, but for a small fee you can hire a driver for the day to help you get around efficiently and safely.
4. Don’t Backpack Through Jamaica
People who backpack through Jamaica essentially put a target on their back, attracting the worst of the island’s criminal element. Your best bet is to spend most of your time in highly populated areas.
5. Do Your Research
Where you spend your vacation will determine what there is to do. Love the nightlife? Then, Negril has tons of thriving hot spots. Taking your family for some fun in the sun? Montego Bay is full of family friendly resorts. Want to experience Jamaica’s inland paradise? Check out Ocho Rios.
6. Don’t Look at the Merchants
When you’re browsing at shops on the island avoid direct eye contact with the merchants. They will take it as a sign that you’re interested in buying but if you’re just looking, keep your eyes on the merchandise and not on the owner.
7. Don’t Use American Dollars
While good, old-fashioned greenbacks are welcome on the island, you should consider using the Jamaican dollar. You’ll find that you don’t have to worry about exchange rates and the locals will appreciate it.
8. Don’t Get Uptight
The entire country is filled with people who are looking on the bright side, and while they’re eager to please, they’re not in any big hurry. So, you shouldn’t be, either. No one wants to hang around with a grumpy tourist.
9. Don’t Be Afraid to Explore
There is one heck of a lot more to the island of Jamaica than just lounging on its world class beaches. There are a lot of great shopping spots and natural beauty like Dunn’s River Falls.
10. Don’t Worry About Finding a Good Beach
The best part about Jamaica is that no matter where you book your reservations Jamaica will have a pristine stretch of golden sand waiting for you. Don’t spend a ton of time trying to find “the rig

Guatemala. A truly awe-inspiring place. But we're here to potentially save you from danger with another 5 things NOT To do in "The Land of Eternal Spring."
1. Don't Flush Toilet Paper
The pipes are different in this country, so if there's a trash can in the restroom, it's there for a reason. Use the wastebasket so you don't clog up the narrow pipes and cause some major property damage.
2. Don't Assume Everyone Speaks Spanish
Yes, you're in Latin America, but that doesn't mean everyone understands and speaks Spanish. Some of the people speak indigenous languages, including K'iche' and Kekchi.
3. Don't Use Public ATMs
There are many scams where thieves attempt to steal credit card details from ATMs. Even though ATMs are readily accessible, most of them are too old to even read the chip in your new bank card.
4. Don't Swim in Any Bodies of Water
The country isn't equipped with warning signs and lifeguards. If you go swimming or boating, you'll be doing so at your own risk. The tides and currents are strong near the Pacific Ocean coastline, and the water in Lake Atitlán has dangerous undercurrents.
5. Don't Drive!
Traffic laws aren't enforced. Many drivers switch lanes without indication, the roads are crumbling due to poor upkeep, there are frequent landslides, steep winding roads on mountains, and many other hazardous risks to motorists.
With all that being said, enjoy your trip, and be safe!

Stuck in the country without a single Pokemon in sight?
Well, since way back in 2000, adventurous travelers have been playing their own gps related game, and it's way cooler than draining your cell battery or waiting for busy servers to come back online.
Rather than aimlessly walking around built up areas, hoping to stumble upon a rare Mr Mime or a Porygon, while catching yet another Pidgey, why not instead search for Geocaches? Head on over to geocaching.com or download the Geocaching app and check out what hidden geocaches are located around your area? There are 2 million hidden all over the world!
A Geocache is a container that has been hidden at a location whose coordinates have been posted on the Internet. They all vary in shape, size and difficulties. After finding one, sign the logbook, trade knick-knacks, if you want, and log your find online.
It's like a secret treasure hunt!
And now that you know what it is, you're no longer a muggle!
And unlike Pokemon Go, geocaching isn't only limited to urban areas. It can also bring you to some pretty crazy places away from civilization! Some people leave some pretty neat Knick-Knacks behind too and there’s a story behind every cache.
