Episode 56 - Sunday Morning Crypto Church - Umbrel BTC Node - Glassnode Insights, Coinbase IPO value
Good morning weirdos! Still unshowered, dirty, smelly and greasy from the Texas freeze. Here is Episode 56 - Sunday Morning Crypto Church - Umbrel $BTC Node - #Glassnode - Coinbase IPO - Also, for the record, I am not talking trash about Voyager wallet. I love the wallet. I just have some questions about the token utility.
Good morning! This morning I dig into the archives a bit and bring you some educational material on some of the fundamentals surrounding why we are (or should be) all in this crypto space. Bitcoin and lots of crypto projects were built for decentralization and censorship resistance. It was meant to crumble the current top-down power structure we have in the world, not through violence, but through logic and code. Nick Szabo, in his blog post from 2009 describes the Byzantine General's Problem and how it can be solved via smart contracts. His blog post prognosticates alot of the concepts that are being implemented in this new 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR), as a world based solely on smart contracts.

Good morning fools! In this episode I completely unprepared and talk about some pretty random topics. I just wanted to have fun and take a break from all the seriousness of previous episodes. I even bust out the old random number generator and use it to discover a new project. The work for the day is serendipity! Just don't make this your work for everyday.

Good morning! This morning I start off by just rambling and reflecting on the development of web 3.0 from it's beginnings in web 1.0. Then I move on to a thread about Avalanche and read a blog post about some of the features of Avalanche. It's not a thorough explanation of Avalanche or even a very good explanation, but it is my morning reflection, so take it for face value.

Good morning! Episode 165 - Arbitrum: The ETH layer for the people? Still wrestling to understand and this is my video of the process. But builders are building some pretty rad DeFi apps gearing up for a great Layer 2 summer. In this episode I go back into Arbitrum and try to communicate the further information I have learned on the project. I would recommend listening to the Bankless podcast interview with the Arbitrum team. They do a great job of explaining it. Overall, I see Arbitrum as groundbreaking tech that will make the layer 1 Ethereum chain as mainly a settlement layer and layer 2 solutions like Arbitrum as the place where all the actual action takes place.

Good morning! It's Sunday and I casually ramble about crypto and some layer 2 protocols. I specifically talk about metamask and RPC network configuration, Optimism, and then Loopring. What makes Loopring unique among the layer 2's?
Yes, zk-Rollups, but also order book functionality in a centralized exchange (CEX) style.

Good morning! This morning I talk about some of the basics. Like how many validators/nodes do various blockchains have? Or how centralized is the blockchain that you love? In the beginning I explain some of the basics of Bitcoin and the consensus mechanism. Then, I take a look at several blockchain explorers and check out their validator/node count.

Good morning nerds. Happy Friday! My usual long-winded roundabout #crypto banter route leads to speculation about Verizon and #thetaNetwork validators. (Factual accuracy is dubious as always.) $THETA $TFUEL

Good morning! I spend this morning talking mostly about Coinbase. I start with an overview of Coinbase and the difference between Coinbase exchange, Coinbase PRO and Coinbase Wallet. Then I get into an article I found that was retweeted by Jack Dorsey that talks about how the VC-backed coins that get listed on Coinbase have actually performed terribly against Bitcoin and Ethereum. Many people think a project has "made it" when it gets listed on Coinbase, but the author seems to prove that this is not the case. Anyway, alot of people say web 3.0 is for giving "the little man" a chance, but it actually is seeming to cause problems for the liquidity of Bitcoin, as the amount of little men that web 3.0 is actually freeing is pretty insignificant. Interesting thesis. Sorry it took a really long time to get to the point in this video

I had a great interview with Sammy the Snake about his blockchain games, Nova Rally and Oliveland built using the Wax.io NFT gaming platform. He is truly an exceptional person with so many ideas up his sleeve. It was an absolute pleasure and a great learning experience to be able to talk to him. He got really excited about future of NFT's in gaming and in the gamification of real life assets!
