I don't think so though. I don't think so either. because this thing is so anemic and. and McConnell understands when he has a win in front of him. and he and the republicans want to be able to say well we did a little bit of something which is actually just window dressing. because he recognizes there's a tension right now. or or i would say there's also an alternate theory that he realizes he has a loss. and so he's going to be on the winning side of this. Like we mentioned the other day, half the people who signed up out of the 10 republicans four of them are retiring. and the other five who signed up were just elected 16 months ago so they don't have to face their voters again for another almost four and a half years. and then there was mitt romney who he is, you know. this is his political brand so i mean frankly this is he would be voting for this regardless. and so it could be that Mcconnell just thinks like okay well i might as well be on the winning side of this. because and make it seem like the republican party is with this as opposed to only people who are basically out the door or have just got you know reelected. which is why i'm becoming convinced that progressive democrats should block it. block it by requiring more. remember the house passed a bill that was far more vigorous. so they still have to meet in conference. and the idea is to have the house negotiators hold out. have the bill go back to the senate. and watch those 10 republicans flee essentially. but let's play this clip number nine this is from this is from newsmax. and it is with Missouri senate candidate Mark McCloskey who incidentally is that couple that came out of their house when they heard that blm was there with semi-automatic rifles. went out on their balcony with ar-15.
