Procedurally generated worlds: You will face different challenges and you will have to learn how the cities’ production chains interact every time you start a new game.
Realistic economic simulation: All prices respond to the basic laws of supply and demand. Every raw material comes from somewhere and every final product goes somewhere to be bought. No arbitrary game rules set, just the will of the free market.
Smuggling: Some goods that can be freely bought in one city may be illegal someplace else… Are you willing to take risks for some extra profit?

GAMEPLAY
Fort Triumph puts a big emphasis on the combat layer - we want to make combat fun, putting the player in dangerous situations against overwhelming odds, and let them use their heroes and the surroundings in clever ways to win - which is what, for us, makes a great tactics game.
Different hero classes can interact with the environment in different ways. This isn't limited to specific objects, everything in the world is interactable: trees, rocks, barrels, and even enemies or allies can be pushed, pulled, knocked down, used as cover, frozen, burned and more.
Knock down a pillar, and use it as cover for your heroes. Uproot a tree, and use it to cross a river. Push a boulder, and climb on it as a platform to an area you otherwise couldn't reach. Kick an ally over a chasm to reach an enemy archer - the possibilies are endless.

Scenario system
►New scenario system allows you to choose, randomize, and customize special situations to play in. Determine starting situation, your type of community (tribe, colony), permanent map conditions, starting items, animals, health conditions, and traits, and change special rules.
►Several built-in scenarios, including one matching the classic RimWorld experience, are included.
►You can randomize new scenarios.
►You can customize scenarios with a special interface that allows creation of any scenario you like.

KeeperRL alpha 16 is Ambitious dungeon simulator with roguelike and RPG elements. Take the role of an evil wizard and study the methods of black magic. Equip your minions and explore the world, murder innocent villagers and burn their homes. Build your dungeon, lay traps and prepare for an assault of angry heroes.
When you control your minions the game changes into a classic roguelike, with turn-based and very tactical combat. You can also play as an adventurer and assault dungeons made by you or other players.
Keeper RL alpha 16 Dungeon management
You will dig deep into the mountain and build dozens of rooms, corridors and traps. Your minions will train and produce weapons and armor. Prisoners will be tortured. You will research new technologies like alchemy, beast mutation and sorcery.
KeeperRL alpha 16 Roguelike mechanics
The world is simulated on a very detailed level. Creatures use equipment and consumable items. There are dozens of special items, spells, attributes and special attacks. You can cut off heads and limbs and blind or poison your enemies. If you're not careful with fire, you can burn an entire forest or even your own dungeon.
