The buyers gave him counterfeit money. My brother was tricked and he didn't realize it until he tried to put the money in the bank. A huge amount too. This was considered a felony (10 year jail time) and so he quickly went to the precinct and handed the money in and filed a police report. We don't know if the police will really find anything (we hope they do and jail him) but either way the money and camera are gone. Amier has been helping me make videos for a long time being my camera man and he recently had no choice but to sell his camera for school expenses and now he has nothing.
