緣起

擁有三十多年詩班指揮的經驗，以及擔任聖樂講師教授合唱指揮的教學歷程，藝術總監李忠民牧師，深深了解指揮所必須面對的困境與挑戰。多年以來，心中一直有感動，要將自己的經驗與心得與更多的詩班指揮分享，並且提供一個彼此切磋琢磨的交流平台，成為教會聖樂事工的祝福。
自1997年起，李牧師就開始積極指導“指揮營”事工，由於這項事工在新加坡、馬來西亞及印尼等地得到熱烈的迴響，夢想的種子終於在2002年發芽生根，在神的賜福與領導下，《國際基督教合唱指揮團》於新加坡註冊成立。

Since 1997, Rev Lee Chong Min has begun the ministry of conducting training. As it was overwhelming in the region such as Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, the dream came true in 2002 with God’s blessings and guidance, International Christian Choral Conductor Society (ICCCS) was formed and registered in Singapore. ICCCS Ministries include, Conductors’ Training, Choral Training of workshops and camps, Publication, International Christian Festival Singers Annual Concert Tour, Church Music Education Fund, and Youth Music Ministry Development Fund. Regions ICCCS has served from 2002 to 2013 include, Singapore, Malaysia – Kota Kinabalu, Tawau, Sandakan, Miri, Bintulu, Sibu, Kuching, Penang, Kulua Lumpur, Johor Bahru & Kota Tinggi; Indonesia – Jakarta, Pandang & Surabaya; China – Hong Kong & Shenzhen; and Taiwan – Taipei, Taichong, Tainan & Gaoxiong.

Ministries:
1. Conductors’ Training: With more than 30 years of experience as a choral conductor under his belt, Rev Lee Chong Min, the Artistic Director of ICCCS, understands the challenges and difficulties faced by choral conductors. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experiences and has sought to provide choral conductors a platform for learning and interaction so that they can become a greater blessing to their churches. Till 2013, about 1700 conductors are trained.

2. Choral Training: Choral workshops and camps are organized to promote interaction amongst church choirs. The training event is an avenue to teach choral singing techniques and knowledge, and to touch & transform lives through the Word of God, and to impact the participants with biblical concepts and right attitude of serving in ministries. Till 2013, more than 5000 choristers / choir members are trained.
