Sewing Instructions:
Start out by laying your laptop on your felt. You will want to cut a piece of felt that is about an inch and a half wider than your computer, or in other words, has a 3/4 inch excess on each side of your computer.
So my computer is 12 1/2 inches by about 9 inches, so I want my sleeve to be about 14 inches by 10 1/2 inches.
How to make laptop case
I doubled up the felt to make the sleeve more cushiony. If you prefer a slimmer sleeve, just do one layer. I will continue this tutorial assuming that the double layer.
Cut 2 pieces according to the measurements above that will work for your computer.
Then cut 2 more pieces that are the same width but are about 6-7 inches longer. This will create your flap.
Pin all 4 pieces together with the two smaller ones in front and the two bigger in back. (Note-I rounded out the corners on mine because I like the look of round corners better. You can do this if you would like or leave them square.)
Sew all the way around the outside of the case. Part of this will have you sewing through 4 layers and part through just 2. Use as small of a seam allowance as you can.
How to sew a laptop sleeve
Then you will need to sew across just the two layers that go across the middle, being careful that you ONLY sew through those two and not the rest of the sleeve. Sorry, forgot to take a picture of how to do this, but here is one from another tutorial that is the same idea:
Sew across that center section.
Then, trim the excess all the way around the sleeve to give it a nice, straight, clean finish.
Grab your Velcro pieces and figure out where you want them. Two will go on the underside of the flap near the top and then fold the flap down and mark where they meet up with the sleeve and sew your other pieces there:

What is Plazzo Pants?
Palazzo pants (British English: palazzo trousers, Indian English: pantada) are long women's trousers cut with a loose, extremely wide leg that flares out from the waist.
History : Palazzo pants for women first became a popular trend in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The style was reminiscent of the wide-legged cuffed trousers worn by some women fond of avant-garde fashions in the 1930s and 1940s, particularly actresses such as Katharine Hepburn, Greta Garbo and Marlene Dietrich.[2] During the 1960s, some upscale restaurants resisted modern fashion trends by refusing to admit women wearing trousers, which were considered inappropriate by some proprietors.This posed a problem for women who did not want to wear the skirt styles that were then in fashion. Some women opted to circumvent restaurant bans on women in pants by wearing palazzo trousers or culottes as evening wear. Palazzo pants flare out evenly from the waist to the ankle, and are therefore different from bellbottoms, which are snug until they flare out from the knee Palazzo pants are also not to be confused with Gaucho trousers, which only extend down to mid-calf length. Designer Kids Top Stitching-
A top is an item of clothing that covers at least the chest, but which usually covers most of the upper human body between the neck and the waistline. The bottom of tops can be as short as mid-torso, or as long as mid-thigh. Men's tops are generally paired with pants, and women's with pants or skirts. The Roller Foot can be used to sew thicker fabrics, napped fabrics, heavy knits, leather, vinyl, or any heavier weight fabrics that are difficult to feed. The foot has two sets of rollers, one large which is to the front and two small rollers at the back of the foot. This allows the fabric to pass under the foot smoothly.
Depending on your machine model, the foot may have its own shank or it may simply snap on and off the machine.
In addition, some versions of the foot are made from a non-stick material while others are metal. Regardless of the style, the feet essentially work in the same way.
The Roller Foot can be used in place of a General Purpose Foot with the added benefit of allowing most thicker fabrics, napped fabrics, heavy knits, leather, vinyl, or any heavier weight fabrics that are difficult to feed pass under the foot easily.
Installing a Rolling Foot with a Screw Driver
If your Roller Foot is a snap on style, simply remove the General Purpose Foot from the presser foot holder and snap on the Roller Foot, following the recommendations in your machine manual.
If your Roller Foot comes with its own shank, attach it by first removing the General Purpose foot and presser foot with a screwdriver.
Attach the roller foot to the shank using the same screw and small screwdriver.
To sew with the Roller Foot on leather fabrics, use a straight stitch on your Singer Sewing Machine and set the stitch length to a medium-long stitch length.
A smaller stitch may perforate the fabric causing it to tear away from the seam.
Using Paper Clips instead of pins on Leather
Tip – When working with leather, plastic, oilcloth and laminated fabrics try using paper clips instead of pins to hold the layers of fabric together as you sew. Pins will make permanent holes in these speciality fabrics.
To sew heavy knit fabrics with the Roller Foot use a narrow zig-zag stitch or straight stitch at an average stitch length.

Picot foot looks similar to narrow hemmer foot but is designed to create a shell look edge on lightweight fabric
Groove on sole of foot has been specifically developed to match width of picot stitches for perfect stitch formation
Groove on sole of foot allows stitches to feed evenly while being created and sewn
Rolled hem foot (some machines have a picot foot but you can do allright with a rolled hem foot)
Zig zag needle plate
Matching thread in bobbin and top thread. A contrasting coloured thread can also be used for a visual interest.
Step 1. Set the machine stitch length to 3.5 & stitch width to 3.5
In a picot edge stitch, fabric at the edge is folded by the rolled hem foot and the zig zag stitch encloses the fold in thread with small ridges.
Step 2. Keep the fabric right side down on the machine to the left of the feet. Start sewing with a straight stitch. Make a straight stitch for 1/2 an inch on the fabric ( 3 or 4 stitches). Take off the fabric, without cutting the thread. You have a small length of thread between the needle and the fabric now.Cut the thread with a long tail hanging behind the fabric. We need this thread tail to guide the fabric for the picot edge.
Step 3. Change the stitch to zig zag, of stitch width 3.5 and stitch length 3.5. Make sure that the tension on your machine is loose.
Start stitching again, stitching the zig zag on the thread first and then continue on to the fabric, inserting the edges into the folds of the rolled hem foot. Feed the fabric gently into the needle, folding and sewing. A perfect picot edge is formed on the edge. At the end you can make a reverse stitch to anchor the thread.
Step 4. Cut away loose threads

What is Kurti ?
In modern usage, a short kurta is referred to as the kurti,which is the attire of females. However, traditionally, the term kurti refers to waist coats, jackets and blouses which sit above the waist without side slits, and are believed to have descended from the tunic of the Shunga period (2nd century B.C.). The kurti is distinguished from the choli by the latter leaving the midriff exposed.
It is a typical dressing pattern of Indians especially the northern regions.
The trend and origin of this clothing style is from the northern India and even today the other parts of the nation though modernalized wear kurti but it is worn by females majorly in north while the south prefers saree.
Punjabi Kurti : In the Punjab region, the kurti is a short cotton waist coat which is buttoned down the front to the waist. In the past, women wore a chain of gold or silver called zanjiri around the buttons. Men wore the zanjiri on the kurta in the Punjab region.
Another style of Punjabi kurti is a short version of the anga (robe). The kurti can also be half or full sleeved and hip length with no front or back opening. Men's kurti is called phatui or wastkot in Punjabi. The kurti of South Punjab, Pakistan is referred to as the Saraiki kurti.
Based on the wish of the consumer the length of the kurti can be decided.
