And I thought spring was around the corner... now the snow is coming down sideways...wind takes down my camera(phone), other things break...
...but in the end, it's always nice to spend some time out in the woods and I also managed to fix my snowshoe, so I'm quite happy!

Started with the spring cleaning at my winter camp.
All the smoke that came from the wet debris I cleaned up gave the ham a great smokey flavor!
...unfortunately I wanted to eat today and had to redo the fire to get the ham finished.

4:27 Snowstorm comparison from last week
Didn't really have the time to get out too much this week so I just took a quick walkabout checking snow depth around the campsite and in one week almost all snow has completely vanished.
No more breaking snowshoes this winter!
(You can see me fixing my snowshoe in the last video as my binding broke off.
...but maybe snowshoes aren't really made for running, jumping and falling...)

The swans have arrived and the snow is almost gone.
Some walking around and then burning away most of the debris I've spread around the campsite I found in the fall and have been using most of the winter while enjoying a meal in the woods.
