This is another way to pull the bathtub floor away from the roof to help prevent rain from being snagged by your bathtub floor.
Also shown is the clothesline I added. Use Dyneema cord to prevent stretching.

Once a year I try to get to Marinette, Wisconsin to eat my fill of Mickey-Lu-BBQ hamburgers. This video shows me driving across the Mackinac Bridge, a 5 mile long suspension bridge that connects the lower to upper peninsula of Michigan and then you see waves crashing against the UP shoreline. You also see a Covid compliant Paul Bunyan located in Manistique, Michigan.

To illustrate how tough winter can be on birds, last summer we had wrens living in our bird house. The hole was too small for the sparrows to fit through but they tried a lot to get in last summer.
Fast forward to this winter. The wrens are gone and today the sparrows have lost so much weight from barely eating that they can now fit through the wren hole.
Wait until Spring and they start gaining weight back. They won't fit through the hole again and they'll be so mad!

Garden of the Gods is located in Manitou Springs, Colorado and is free to the public. The family that owned the land donated the land to Manitou Springs with the stipulation that it would always be free for the public to walk through it. It is really nice and I highly recommend you go there if you are in the area.

Today's nature moments were a lot of fun to observe. There were several turkeys feeding next to deer in our yard playing and chasing each other. At one point, a turkey decided to snap at the doe that was near it but then they settled and decided to get along with each other. Then I found a young fawn in a stream with the mom nearby. Watch as the fawn runs to the mom.

I set out to beat my record of 7 Mickey-Lu Bar-B-Q hamburgers. I did! I ate 8 but in two orders. These are the best burgers in the land. They charcoal grill them and then put them in a fresh roll with a couple squares of butter. Cut in half, the burgers drip goodness and heart disease. Oh well!
