A review of the recently released Linux Mint Xfce Debian Edition. This distro is extremely lightweight, allowing for best of breed apps to be installed by default. Firefox, Rhythmbox, F-spot and all the apps of the Main Edition are here, and even with 6 or so apps open, RAM usage hovers just above 200 MB!
Fantastic release, and a very smart move on behalf of the Mint Team. Get Dropbox: https://db.tt/Qg1VIS9T

A review of the Enlightenment E17 distro called Bodhi Linux. Built upon the stable Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, this ultralight distribution is a great choice for older computers. Only basic tools are preinstalled, but a great community website makes it easy to download/install the best Linux apps available. So lightweight, you could run it on a tablet or mobile phone even!
==Quick Stats==
E17 desktop environment
Ubuntu 10.04 LTS base
Very quick boot
Fancy desktop effects even on older hardware
Very low system requirements:

==Just because it looks like Windows doesn't make it fully transparent.==
I review the Ubuntu 14.04 based Zorin OS 9 Core Edition. A very easy usable distribution that is ideal for new users, but still has a few pleasant surprises for the seasoned Linux user. This system is so easy, you forget you're running Linux.

A rather in depth review of Ubuntu 11.04 Beta 1. Sporting the new Unity Interface, Ubuntu is now bringing something unique to the buffet of distros out there. Overall, bugs are present as it's only a beta, but definitely shows promise as the new UI and bundled apps create a cohesive user experience that's logical and easy to pick up and use. Excellent execution on the part of the Ubuntu devs, they've been working incredibly hard, and their work truly shows.

It's time for a comparison of two of the most accessible desktop Linux OSs for those interested in switching from Windows 10 to Linux. Both Linux Mint 19.3 and Zorin OS 15.1 are excellent choices - but they both serve different markets/demographics, so this video is designed to help you pick between the two.
