This is not a how-to video. Due to the well pump being in unknown condition after having blown out a starting capacitor, and the line from the well to the house leaking, it was best to get the whole job done. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TwFVt8A5AY

If you want stereo sound from a Tandy 1000 computer, you could install a Sound Blaster Pro card -- or you can set up two Tandys side-by-side, and use the mono DAC sound chip in them to play the left and right channels independently. The most difficult part is timing them so that the two computers play in synch. I couldn't get it exactly perfect, which creates an interesting echo effect.
I analyzed the results with an audio editor, and on the first song, the right channel is about 33 milliseconds ahead of the left channel. On the second song, the right channel is about 25 ms ahead of the left channel. And once started, the timing between the two computers drifts by about 1 to 2 ms.

This miniature replica guitar amplifier has several rock guitar demo tracks to play, but also can be used as a real amplifier, with input and output jacks and a small built-in speaker. And even if you don't play guitar, it makes a funny looking but suitable replacement for the mini battery powered amplifier that Radio Shack used to sell.

In any Volkswagen vehicle with power windows made since the early 1990s, you can open the windows by holding the key in the driver's door in the unlock position. All of the windows open simultaneously, and you can open them to any desired height, by how long you hold the key. Also, if you hold the key in the lock position, it will close all of the windows simultaneously, followed by the sunroof (if your VW has one) if it is open too. (The sunroof can only be closed by the key, not opened.)
This is great for airing out a hot car without needing to get in first, or to quickly close the windows and sunroof if it starts to rain. I wish more automakers would implement this trick!

Owners of Crosley, Victrola, and other cheap suitcase-style record players sometimes encounter a confounding problem where one side of a record plays fine, while the other side plays sluggishly or not at all. Luckily, it's easy to fix.
