Here I am doing my best to work out what the Spanish W-Series racing driver Marta García is posting about. Spanish to English translations afoot. Un pie. Ha ha. Ja.

Hi, I'm Steve and I am a full time musician living in London, UK.
I am a singer, frontman, guitar and bass player. I write my own songs and will be releasing my first proper solo album in the coming months. Subscribe to stay informed about that.
I am the frontman and band leader of my 3-piece Indie/Rock wedding/function/party band, covering the classics from 1950s-present. I have been doing this many years and have many satisfied clients who are now good friends.
(Steve Ling Band Video link - https://youtu.be/QjO8wO09sZw)
For people wanting something a bit quieter and more space-saving I also play acoustic gigs in pubs/bars/restaurants around the London/Berks/Herts/Oxfordshire areas. If you would like me to play at your event or venue please get in touch.
As a depping musician, besides going out as a frontman with PA, I can be a lead guitarist, acoustic guitarist, bassist and percussionist. I spent a lot of time harmonising along with the Spice Girls as a kid so I really enjoy doing backing vocals too.
You can send me a private message on here via YouTube or via my Facebook page Steve Ling Band:

Disclaimer:
I have no interest in trying to make money by pushing ads onto people. I only wish to sell my product (my album) when it is finished, and I have zero interest in giving it away for free just because today's society deems it so. Most of the people I speak to at gigs WANT to support musicians by buying their albums, but the reality is that if someone offers you a thing for free, or the same thing for a price ANY SANE PERSON IN THEIR RIGHT MIND would take the free option. My point is the free option should not be available. After all, in the digital age we're told the things that are pushed onto you for free (social media accounts, free trials leading to subscriptions you'll forget you signed up for, etc) are precisely the things you should be most wary of. Christian Louboutin - you have my heart as far as heels go, and evidence suggests I'm not the only one who will willingly pay over the already sky-high RRP for something so well designed/made because they are extremely sexy, rare and hard to find. Thus, my album gets the same treatment. It is a bespoke work of art, that tells a compelling story from my life and references some of the my favourite musical artists in the world without

Hello and welcome to my latest series of guitar practice videos.
These backing tracks follow the chord sequence A - C - D - F - G for both Major and Minor scale practice.
HOW TO PLAY ALONG:
Play through each pentatonic (CAGED) shape twice before changing to the next key/scale. Do this for the 5 different areas of the neck
HOW TO PLAY ALONG: UODN
Starting on the 6th string, play up the scale shape (12 notes) and when you reach the 1st string change to the next key/scale coming downwards for 12 notes, hence “up one, down the next”
These exercises were designed to help me memorise the pentatonic scale shapes. I expect some of you will be frustrated at not being able to have the shapes on-screen while you play. Let me reiterate, these are MEMORY-based exercises. I made these backing tracks in 2011 and now in 2019 I am pretty confident diving in from cold on a 100bpm Hard level Up One Down the Next that I will get at least 95% of the notes right first time.
Good luck, happy practicing and oh yeah… BUY MY ALBUM!
(link will be here when available)
TIPS:
You don’t have to always start at the bottom of the scale shape and go Up-Down-Up-Down before changing, you could invert starting from the top string and go Down-Up-Down-Up, start from the middle or even just improvise using each scale shape.
Be robotic or creative with your practice - it’s up to you!
