Each side comes to you with their argument. You listen with compassion because you are a great listener. Since it's not important to you, you do not argue back, and listen without finding fault.
Since you offer no conflicting opinion each side thinks you support them.
Since each side thinks you support them they believe they are right and go into battle against each other.
You're not even caught in the middle. You just stand on the sidelines watching it happen.

I found parts of Butterfly wings on the trail. I believe it's a Spicebush Swallowtail Butterfly
Spicebush Swallowtail (Papilio troilus) is generally black, and marked with broad, black hind wings bordered with pale, greenish spots. Hind wings on the male have a blue-green band, and the female has a blue shading. The Spicebush Swallowtail wing span is in the 3.5" - 4.5" range.

My First expedition trying a long paddle using the Origami paddler on Lake Lashaway East Brookfield, MA / North Brookfield, MA.
Easy to store kayak, Folding Kayak, first impressions, and use.
Much better workout than my sit inside fast kayak.
The only trouble is keeping the pegs in place initially.

Is it better to be thought a fool or to speak and remove all doubt?
Even if you have a great idea, it is advisable to keep your mouth shut.
Even if you have a perfect idea:
1) Once you bring up your idea the others want you to implement it but are not willing to contribute. Since no one will help you, it prevents your idea from succeeding. They know you have a great idea but for some reason, do not want it or you to succeed.
2) Others might not be receptive to your idea. Even though your idea is great, others don't like change. Sometimes change is scary even when it's beneficial.
3) It just might not be the right time for your idea. There is a time and place for everything and even when your idea seems perfect, it might be too early.
If you have a great idea, it might be better to try some testing to see how receptive the environment is to your ideas.
It might be a better idea to keep your mouth shut and wait for a better time for your ideas for a better time.
